Driving on mostly motorways for 60000 average miles
I had this for 60,00km.
They were meh.... during dry roads. But during wet... you should definitely be paying attention to the steering wheel because is like they were made of stained steel, a lot of aquaplaning. But, as they are made from stained steel and not rubber, they are very hard on potholes, almost indestructible.
About noise, not too bad, but not in the premium league. I had some European tires that were noisier, but not the premium type.

Driving on mostly town for 7000 average miles
Two new tires on my A4 in February, 7000 miles ago and they're being replaced now in September because they're almost bald. Can't believe how bad these have lasted on mostly motorway mileage when the 2 original ventus from the factory are still going strong from 3 years ago. Never buying these again.

Writing about the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 3 given 84% (225-50-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 spirited miles
My experience with Vector 4 season gen3 so far (approx. 10,000km of spirited driving, dimensions 225 50 17):
Bought a brand new Audi A4 35tfsi in November 2022, and immediately swapped summer Pirellis for these Goodyear. I am not a tire testing expert, this is only my subjective take on the experience with these tires. I live in Montenegro, and weather is pretty mild, with rainy winters and hot summers. However, I do travel a lot within the region, and often it happens that my journey starts at +20c in coastal Montenegro, and ends in temperatures below zero in Croatian mountains, or in Serbia. This happens quite often, during autumn or even spring. That being said, winter tires are big compromise, as they are not utilized properly; all-season tires make much more sense, both in option when they are used as winter tire (in combination with the set of summer tires), or throughout the entire season (as a single set).
Back to Goodyear review: winter was exceptionally rainy this year, so I have been driving mostly on wet and muddy roads. These tires are superb for wet conditions. Aquaplaning and grip levels are very good, feels very safe and planted. I also did couple of trips north, so I encountered snow and ice cold tarmac - I think the tire performs decent in these conditions, with acceptable traction and levels of grip. It gets the job done, and I don't have to think about the weather, whenever I travel.
The performance in dry weather is very good, road handling, grip levels and comfort are all great. I didn’t understand why all reputable tire tests mention longer braking distances in dry weather, my subjective feeling is that stopping power is quite good, with lots of feel and confidence. I still didn’t get a chance to use them in blistering heat, so I will try to update my review in July or August.
No comments on tire wear so far, as I have only done 10k.
Overall, I really like these tires, and they behave very similar to Continental All Season Contact, that I used as winter tires on my previous car.

Writing about the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 given 73% (225-50-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 average miles
Good allrounder but was expecting more comfort from a touring tire. Downsides are aquaplaning, which is really bad, and cofort which is average at best. Performance in other fields is as expected and promised by reviews.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 average miles
Was searching for a cheap winter tire and got more than I hoped for. Very quiet and comfortable with great performance on dry wet and snow. Didnt notice any wear. I recommend this tire to anyone who is aiming for comfort and quitness without braking a bank.

Writing about the Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE004 given 90% (245-40-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 8500 spirited miles
After 2yrs of using re003, changed to Ps4. Was disappointed. Sidewall softer than Re003 but not as comfortable. The re003 absorbs road harshness like butter but still grips n handles better. A year later change to Ps5. Still almost the same. Abit more comfort. But steering is vague. Sidewall soft n can feel road harshness. End up changing to the Re004. A world of diff again. Harder sidewall which makes turn more fun n sharp. At the same time road harshness was absorbed like butter. So overall, Re004 quieter, more comfort n better steering response than the Ps5. Not to mention cheaper too. Grip i think is about the same. If u hv to choose, go for the Re004.

Writing about the Pirelli SNOWCONTROL Serie II given 67% (195-65-15-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 easy going miles
Considering, it is a non-studded, European winter tire, the Pirelli is surprisingly good on snow. We took it to the arctic cirlce in winter and it performed just fine in deep snow as well as on mixed surfaces and even ice. Even during a high-speed corner braking on a snowy track from 60 mph to a standstill because of animals in the road, the car remained very controllable (no ESC, just ABS) and braking distance was shorter than I expected. Also we needed the chains less often than expected, despite the Audi being a 2WD. In the wet and dry there are no surprises. Feedback is good and so is noise and comfort. Dry and wet braking performance did not surprise me in any way either. Nothing particularly positive jumps to mind, however the are no negatives either. The price of 58 EUR in October 2018 was okay too.

Driving on a combination of roads for 200 spirited miles
Tried the goodyear asymmetric 5 for a month. Swap tu the horrible but expensive ps4s for a week n finally to this excellent RT2. I was blown away. Sudden quieter tires. So much more smoother to drive than the PS4s n Asymmetric 5. More direct steering too. So glad i tried this. Better to drive than the asymmetric 5. Waaaaaaay better to drive than the crappy ps4s. Best decision ever.

Writing about the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S given 52% (255-30-20-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 180 spirited miles
After changing to this tires after using the goodyear asymmetric 5, i was really shocked at how outdated the car feels. Road roughness vibrates through the cabin, more noise, the sidewall is soft but tires are harsh. So opposite of asymmetric 5 which has harder sidewalls but very plush to drive absorbing road imperfections. Steering feels also feels so inconsistent. I guess many people just buy this because its expensive. Used for a week, changed to Dunlop RT2 and never regretted. Straight away feels so much smoother, quieter with more direct steering. Stay off this outdated tire. Expensive doesn't mean better. Trust me.

Writing about the Falken ZIEX ZE310 EcoRun given 74% (225-50-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 easy going miles
My first impression was pretty good, tires seemed to be average on noise and fairly good on grip, comfort and wear. Tires feel stable and safe on wet, the car doesn't aquaplane easily even on puddles. Then I noticed the average fuel consumption had gone up by around 5-10% compared to the old tires due to high rolling resistance, which doesn't seem much but it adds up. So the price difference to the most expensive premium tires will equalise in few years (especially when fuel prices will go up due to environmental reasons), and after that they will end up costing more than the premium tires like Michelin or Continental. Thats why I probably wouldn't buy them again.

Driving on mostly town for 125 average miles
Just have them for 18 days on an Audi A4 B8 2015 Quattro 190 HP with standard suspension. The feedback is very good. I'm impressed with the comfort because they behave the same way as my 17' wheels behave over bumps. Stability is much improved compared to my 4 year old Continental Premium Contact.
