The Falken Ziex ZE320 is the outright winner of this test and a large step on from the Ziex tires that carried a similar name before it. It leads the field in dry braking and on both handling circuits while staying near the front almost everywhere else, and only wet braking stops it being a clean sweep. For a tire priced in the middle of this group that is a strong result, and it makes the Falken the pick for drivers who want one tire that does everything well.

Initial Impressions

The tires provide excellent handling and grip in both dry and wet conditions. There is absolutely no tire noise on the highways, although if the asphalt quality is poor, some noise returns. The ride is very comfortable and not too firm. I rotated the tires from front to back at 10,000 km, and I haven't noticed any wear at this point. Overall, these tires offer great value for the price, and I feel very confident in both braking and cornering!

I have no wonder how this brand is not counted as a premium one. These tires are awesome, I changed my Contis for these, and feels far better in terms of comfort, quieter and smoother as well. The grip levels are very good in all conditions, I cannot mention any drawback compared to the Conti.

Regarding the lifespan, I drove about 10000 miles on this set, on the fronts can notice some wear, but I have an FWD diesel car, that's normal. I guess this set will do 40000 miles for me with rotation.

So all in all, I'm satisfied with these tires and happy to chosen instead of well known premium brands.

    First impressions about the tire: After the Continental PC6 these tires are incredibly comfortable. Much less noise and lower pitch of existing noise, what makes the feeling of the tire noise level even lower. Smoothen the surface imperfections of the road way better. I hope they will keep this performance for a long time. These Falkens were 30% cheaper than the previous Contis, for the first impression, the performance is quite the same (with normal driving), but the riding comfort is much better.

    The road feedback is a bit sluggish after the Contis, but nothing exceptional, It's good as well, but they haven't that tight, sporty feeling like the Conti.

    I'm satisfied with these tires. I got what I expect, even a little bit more. I will update my experience after some thousands of miles, hopefully with similar satisfaction.

Coming from Michelin Primacy 4, which lasted me 55,000kms, I decided to try the budget friendly Falken Ziex ZE320. These were about half the price of the new Michelin Primacy 5. I don't like to cheap out on something so essential to road safety, but the positive test results from Tire Reviews themselves made me curious enough to give them a go.

So far, they perform really well. The dry grip is impressive, as are the handling and road feedback. The Falken ZE320 is also way less noisy than I expected. These are all positive outcomes, especially considering the ZE320 only cost me 60 euros per tire. Good job, Falken.

The primary drawback of the ZE320 for me is its mediocre rolling resistance. For most, this will actually be fine if you drive a regular combustion engine car or a performance oriented car. However, if you drive a car designed for efficiency, the impact of rolling resistance is (relatively) much larger. The power consumption in my EV rose from 11.8kWh/100km on the Michelin Primacy 4 to 12.7kWh/100km on the Falken ZE320. Still not bad, but less efficient than I'd like it to be.

I gave ze320 good score at first review(9.2). Now after 2000+ miles i have to reduce the score to (7). As we entered summer here in east europe, temperature of asphalt rise to 40 to 70 Celsius , ze320 started to act strangly and have reduced it performance by 20%!! Same corner i take allmost daly now i get OVERSTEER front and back and i am little dissapointed whit performance. I wont buy them next time. Definitly good tire for normal eu summer but here whit high temperature of asphalt i dont reccomend them!

I haven’t experienced any loss of comfort after switching from Michelin CrossClimate tires. These tires perform better than the Michelins on dry roads. I just bought them recently, though. I’ll update my opinion after driving on wet roads and rough surfaces.

Whit every new tire i test it by scraping my shoe against it to feel grip( laught as much u want :) )
And i can say, compared to my ex micheling primacy 4+ , there are extreamly sticky. On medium quality asphalt i pushed tires hard whit speed over 120 kmh on extreamly steep curve. I am impressed and i can only say that i will buy it again. Saved me today from hiting another car whit 10/10 braking on wet. Noise is on par or even better then michelin. I bearly hear them! . Compared to micheling-excels in evrything! Corners i couldnt take whit confidence
, now i speed past it. Short life compared to michelin? One thought -i value better braking and cornering then tread wear.
Downside- they do use 0.3 more fuel coz ur driving faster :-) extreamly happy!

My Corolla Hybrid Sedan 2023 came with Falken Sincera SN832B from factory. This was my first contact with this brand (look for my review). I was so happy with them and from the brand positive reviews from others that i fitted the newer model SN110 to my Yaris hybrid and i was pleased too (look for my review). Then this summer and after 30.000 km (they easily can last 10.000km more), i decided to put the all new ZE320. The first impressions were not so good. There was a permanent high pitch humming noise to every surface from the moment that i fitted them! This was the reason that i changed them so early. Maybe with a conventional petrol engine the noise can be hidden but with my hybrid the noise was very loud! Also the tire felt ...hollow. I mean when the car pass over imperfections of the road, the sound was not pleasant but like there was not so much material in them. I think they wanted to make it very light and they succeed as the rolling resistance was very low! I lifted the foot from the pedal and the car kept going and going. This is a touring sport tire but 70% on the sport side. You can feel confidence with them when cornering in a spirited mood as they reminded me my previous Mazda MPS 3! So not a balanced tire but a sportier one. Dry and wet were excellent. As for the comfort not so much. Yes they feel like they glide on the road but again the feeling is not good as they read the micro imperfections of the road and this ruined the zen style of my hybrid car. Conclusion: The tires are excellent for those that have sport cars or they want a touring but on the sporty side tire for their vehicle. For hybrids is a big NO! I changed them with Michelin Primacy 5 that suits way better to the character of my hybrid car (i will review this tire soon).

Drive a full set for about 3000km, mixed Romania roads with highways.
They are silent vs Firestone Roadhawk I used before these.
