215/65 R17 Tire Review Highlights
Writing about the Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV

I bought these as I saw it in several reviews for my Nissan Qashqai. This was the worst tire I've ever bought. The wheels kept spinning whenever I tried to start the car, in every crossroad I stopped. And the same issue also had my neighbour with his Toyota Avensis. Luckily I sold the car but even the new buyer couldn't believe that these tires were 6months old and had only 12.000km in them.. My conclusion is never buy an efficient tire again, class A or B. C classification is the one to go.

After one winter season in the Alps and driven about 6.500 km , grip in snow and ice is good but wear is as poor as for the previous generation of blizzaks : lost 1 mm in only 6500 km ! Driving gently ...

excellent grip on snow and ice , better grip than blizzaks 5 when cornering . tried them in moutain roads by -12 degrees C , going uphill (10%) on 5cm snow: no problem. I used Konig chains in 20cm snow because the snow plow hadn't cleared the way ...

Got them with a used car, fitted brand new by the dealer. By far the worst tires I've ever driven on. Literally the only good thing I can say about them is that they are quiet - on good, sealed, recently tarred roads, that is. On anything else, especially coarse chip, they become very noisy. They aquaplane scarily early, compared even to GitiSynergy H2s (which themselves aren't exactly the last word either) of similar size. Handling is lacklustre too; the steering feel is non-existent and any attempt to take corners at a "fun" speed results in nasty surprises when approaching the limit. I suspect these tires have been asked to do too many things at once and Toyo should stick to tires that either do urban well, or country well, but not both.

Put these tires on my wife's AWD van after seeing good reviews on Consumer Reports. It's an all weather tire so we leave it on year round. Winter snow and ice grip has been surprisingly good. Getting us through some pretty nasty snow storm here in the mountains of BC (Canada). Summer performance is pretty average but fine for our camperized van.

My car is a Skoda Kodiaq. I bought it in 2017. I used it with a separate set of wheels. My storage conditions are perfect. These are my first snow tires for this car (2040 km). I used them at the end of 2024 (16590 km). I can say there is no excessive wear (tread depth).
For two years, their performance in snow and wet conditions was average. After that, they hardened quickly. Noise increased. Road grip decreased. I used them with caution, especially in puddles.
Still, I used them on the roads between Bolu, Turkey - Abant and Kartalkaya. They didn't let me down in the snow. I didn't use chains.
A good price/performance product.

Excellent winter tire. I drove heavy snow with them, snow grip was perfect. Never slide. I highly recommend

Stopping on frozen snow or slippery surfaces is the tire's biggest drawback. The ABS engages immediately, but the car continues to slide mercilessly. I have them on a 2020 Tiguan 4Motion. Very disappointing. I can only advise reducing your speed very early at intersections and traffic lights, otherwise you'll slide mercilessly over them. Until recently, I had a Touareg with Nokian Nordman 7 tires. Something like that never happened to me.

Poor Wet Grip with compared with Michelin and Contis and the tire aquaplaned even in very little water accumulated on the road.

At 45,000 miles on this set , no punctures , still performing like they are new even when hitting deep puddles , down to under half the tread they had when new , just awesome tires.

I’ve used them for two summers in Sweden, driven about 55000km and they still have some useful tread left. None of the tires are below 4.5mm. They are more of an comfortable tire than a sporty but they grip well and have never let me down this far

Replacing these tires after 48.000 km and still 3.5 mm tread by Michelins. Had two punctures and found contiseal technology quite useful.
