Comfortable compared to my previous tires, very good rolling resistence. Dry grip accetable, not impresie, feel safe on the wet (i have not push them on wet yet?
After 5 seasons still functional, pondering if I use it in spring again.
This year I had issues with aquaplaning on two occasions - but that occured at fairly high speed - over 90 kph when slowing down.
I will probably buy the Primacy 5 as a next set
The tires were advertised as 80,000 mile tires. After driving less than half that distance and having all the tire rotations done before 7000 miles, they have worn down to 4/32.
Bought these tires to replace the original Conti's that came with the car. The Bridgestone T005 come with a modern block tread pattern, about 7.5 mm of tread when new, and really suit the looks of the car.
Very grippy tires in all UK weather's, feels secure and stable on the road, even when tires were down to 3mm handling and grip were still excellent, the tires lasted 25000 miles, 3 years and were rotated once during that time.
They wore evenly and there was no perishing or cracking of the rubber, that I've experienced with other brands.
Price wise these tires are in line with other premium tire brands, and I would definitely buy them again.
The tire absorbs shocks very well, it's comfortable. But I didn't like the grip. It definitely doesn't suit performance driving. I might not choose it again.

Who does the testing
Every test published as a Tire Reviews test is run by Jonathan Benson, who has been testing tires independently since 2007.
