Peugeot 508 SALOON Tire Review Highlights
I replaced my worn out Michelin pilot sport 4 with the Ventus prime 4 and the difference in comfort and noice was noticeable. Dry and wet grip were not on par with the Michelin, but not significantly worse. Used them for only around 5000km before I sold the car, but as a touring tire, and for half the price of the Michelin, you cannot go wrong with them. Especially comfort wise.

I bought the Alpin 6 instead of the Continental ts850p, Dunlop Winter Sport or Goodyear ultragrip when it just came out, as a Michelin fan, and to be honest, most probably the alternatives would've been better. There were no reviews back then, but I trusted the brand and got them. Right after I mounted them on the car, I went to the mountains were there was fresh, in some places wet snow, to test them, and honestly I felt a little disappointed. Lateral stability in both wet and snow was very poor. Braking was good, but the lateral stability not that much. I've gotten stuck in them a few times in 10cm hard snow on the parking lot, and had to maneuver my way out with my FWD Peugeot 508. Dry grip on the other hand was really amazing, especially for a winter tire. Definitely better than a midrange summer tire. They were really comfortable and quite better than the summer Michelin PS4 on all surfaces with the same tire pressure. Wear is amazing, as expected for Michelin. Before I sold the car, u used them for more than 55k km, they still have between 5.5 and 6 mm left. Couldn't get the chance to test the new layer that comes out when you reach 4mm. One of the tires had a little defect though, it didn't look deformed or unevenly worn but the car always leaned towards the side, on which this tire was mounted, while driving. Balancing and wheel alignment were perfect, so it wasn't this. This appeared on their third year. But I drove the car like that anyway.

I used the Michelin pilot sport 4 on my Peugeot 508 2.0 hdi automatic. It is by no means a sporty car, but I always used it like one. And the Michelin were more than perfect. The dry grip has always been amazing, never had a single issue with dry handling, stopping or accelerating no matter the temperature, from 5 to 45 C, or speed (up to the limit of the car, 220kph). Before the tread reached 2mm the wet grip was also perfect. Safe acceleration and deceleration even in the deepest of rain. Aquaplaning resistance was amazing. Curved aquaplaning was very safe and stable even I deeper water. The comfort was not on par with a touring tire, but almost. Never felt that the tires are hard or noisy up until they reached the limit. Then they became noisy and that is mostly because of uneven wear, caused by poor alignment. The most impressive thing is that they lasted for more than 75k km. They were worn down to the limit and maybe even more. In the end of their life, when they neared the limit, the wet grip became unbearable. They were like ski on even the littlest of moist on the asphalt. But the dry grip was like slicks. I mean it.

Coming to these from Hankook VP 2 has completely transformed a car. Feels as if car was put on coilovers. When tackling a roundabout or corners at high speed tires dont move sideways at all as if sidewalls were made out of steel. Driving in heavy rain feels like driving on dry - no difference in tire behaviour. The only issue is that it could be quieter, but thats no biggy. Wanted to try these for a long time and have to say I am very impressed. But it needs a better looking sidewalls - probably the worst looking tire from all premiums. Probably will buy again if they will last at least 12000km.
These are on Peugeot 508 which is family saloon and can easily keep up with hot hatches in a corners with these tires on.

I had them installed at the begining of March 2023. They are DOT 4622.
I drove 20k km and all 4 tires reached the end of life markings.
Its August right now.

I have them on my Peugeot 508. I drive mostly on motorways, but sometimes also on poor-quality country roads and in a big city. These tires are quite decent - nice feeling, good handling and grip on both dry and wet roads. Maybe in really heavy rain, they could be a little bit better. But in all the conditions, they're easily predictable and safe. Wear is good in my point of view. I have done 30.000 miles, which is the longest distance I have ever driven with one set of tires. Their biggest disadvantage is noise. It's not a disaster, but Goodyear Efficient Grip and maybe even winter tire Bridgestone LM005 Blizzak are more quiet. And I think that on Goodyears, my fuel consumption was slightly lower.

Performed very well while new. I drove them for 6 months some 30.000 km. After winter switch, I stored them at my garage and fitted again in spring, seemed like they lost all characteristics.
The wear was intensive, the car start pulling on the right side so I went for wheel alignment. The results were normal, all the troubles caused by the tires. After total 40.000 km I changed these tires and the car came back to normal.
This is 2nd set of Nokian that disappointed me.

For a winter tire it's really low noise.
wet road performance is perfect especially aquplaning is unbelieveble.
but in snow (winter tire!!) I think not good enough by the way it's weird that the tires are very good on the ice.
I drove them for about 35000 km. and there's still 6 mm. wear on tire.

Tires kept the car stable but noise level was far to high for a premium tire. Constant rumble at slow speeds progressively louder at 70+ Previous tire fitted was Michelin same size but 95h smooth as silk
