205/50 R17 Tires

I´ve bought them for my oldest car Feb 2023 and they provide surprisingly good job. They were a bit more noisy first 3. to 4.000 km, but afterwords the edges of each block got a bit rounded, so they let the "brumm" noise behind them and up to these days are not noisy any more.
Perfect fuel efficiency for winter tire - they are not far away from summer Michelins Primacy 5 bought 2025, might be the same!
They provide really strong grip up the hill in deep snow (yes, havier V6 auto in front), perfect stopping distance and direcrtional stability on snow and ice, perfect straight track on highways in 2-inch snow at 120km/h! unbelievable!
Also straight track on dry highway is without any complaint and wet grip incl. stopping distance are really sufficient enough - they perfectly fit Mondeo 2.5V6 5Auto Turnier. Side force transfer on a road is a better average.
What is for me very important (using SAVA winter tires from 1993) - SAVA never generated vibrations to me, never! No radial force pumping.
This shows quality, not the first place in tests ;-)

After 2 hot summers the tires are dangerous on wet and cold,
That was actually very much appreciated since i drive them on a GR Yaris mostly on the weekends in the night on snowfall but normal use would be very very dangerous.

For high Torque ev usage- Satisfactory grip during normal driving but easy breakaway under high power, even at speed. Expected end of life 45k km.
Tires have developed around 30k a per revolution noise which is very concerning and proven to be Tire related.

Used most time in the city, confortable and silent. Very stable in turns. Can stilul be used.

My new Citroen C3 hybrid, (delivered in April 2026), came with factory fitted Goodyear "efficientgrip" tires, and my plan was to fit all season tires in November. Unfortunately one of my tires was damaged beyond repair in early August, by a puncture close to the sidewall. My local tire depot offered me 4 new Nexen N Blue 4Season 2 tires at a great price, (during the very hot summer weather), so I decided to change my tires earlier than planned. (I also had a family member who could make use of the 3 remaining Goodyears). At first, the change of tire was quite noticeable, as you might expect, and I wasn't sure I had made the right decision. But after the first couple of hundred miles I became much more sure of the Nexens and their capabilities. I then went on holiday and covered just over 500 miles in a week on various "A" roads, "B" roads, and some motorway miles too. I had both hot and dry and cool and, (very), wet driving conditions, and the Nexens performed admirably. I've now covered around 2000 miles on these tires, and as the weather turns colder, I'll report back again, as I live quite high up in the UK. Definitely worth considering these tires, especially given that mine are made in Europe, (Czech Republic), by a well known brand, who supplies OEM tires to some car makers.

Used in multiple road conditions and seasons, can't say I am really displeased about them, they are fine for the price, decent grip and pretty good fuel economy. During rain you can really estimate the limits of the tire and the car, however these tires are not suited for heavy winter weather, such as ice or snow, the tire, despite its tread, is struggling to find grip and getting the car rolling is quite a difficult task and at medium to low speeds, during said conditions, the car becomes unstable; didn't have enough courage to go faster as the car was feeling like a sled.

Overall they are pretty good if where you live it doesn't snow a lot, they can handle cold temperatures and rain completely fine and summer driving (you must pay attention to braking distances during summer as the tire becomes really soft), as long as you don't overplay your hand too much. Very good on fuel and cheap to buy.

The tires were mounted on a VW Passat B7 Variant 2.0TDI 103KW, 6-speed manual transmission, front wheel drive.

Good strong grip in the dry with predictable breakaway at the very limit. Safe handling, stopping and corning when driving normally in the wet. Progressive feedback and controllable at the limit, no major dramas. Comfortable, quiet and a well balanced tire. Not expected to match Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym 6 for longevity. This is not a track day tire.

First All Weather tire I've driven on. Used on a VW Jetta almost entirely for city driving.
You'll get maybe 28k miles out of them if you fail to rotate them, probably twice that if you rotate them properly. They are a great fun tire for a light car and provide plenty of traction year round in all weather conditions. They provide stable traction as long as you don't push your car too hard into severe understeer conditions or pretend you are driving an actual winter tire. If you've driven on winter tires previously they simply won't be as good but are infinitely better than all season tires on a fwd car in the snow.
Once the circumferential grooves are gone your ice/snow directional traction reduces significantly and you'll likely notice road noise increases significantly by this point as well.
Don't think I'd use these on an SUV - but maybe the 4S2 X is better since it is desired for SUVs?

Much better for winter driving than the two all(3)-season Continental ContiTouring and Pirelli P4s I've driven on previously.
