225/55 R17 Tires

Very good while tire is new.
It harden after 10000km and noisier after 15000km.
Retired it at 2XXXX km.

The tire I had was a Michelin pilot alpin PA4 zp used it on a 2019Mini Cooper Countryman S all4 for one season. I felt the tires was average for a winter tire. Thought the sottozero 3 I had before were more fun to drive.

Had them on a 2019 Mini Cooper Countryman S all4. Used the two seasons. Both winters we had some good storms of two feet or more of snow. Only got stuck once because a lifted truck couldn’t get up my unplowed street that I had no problem on. I thought the handling in dry and wet were outstanding a fun to drive.

Very good allround tire, with good attributes in dry, wet, offroad, mud, snow and good feedback. A little noisy, but good longevity also.

Good manevrability on wer or drie roads. Good on emergency brakes also. My first set was from 2019 and lasted until 2024 on like 35 146 miles. On my car I have just Bridgestone tires, on my last job car I have Debica who lasted like max. 2 seasons and 9320 miles

Under normal circumstances, I found all-season tires to be a completely meaningless type of tire. Just like how it's ridiculous to walk around in slippers in winter and in boots in summer, I thought all-season tires offer the same nonsensical usage. In Turkey, under Antalya conditions, winter tires seemed just as unnecessary. After reading the reviews on this site, I decided to try the Pirelli SF3. The size I used is a -3% smaller size that is not included in the factory data, yet I didn't see the slightest problem in comfort. In fact, I can honestly say it's quite comfortable compared to the summer tires I used. With all-season tires, you have to compromise on some aspects; for example, the Michelin CrossClimate series performs quite poorly on wet surfaces while it does wonders on snowy ground. The Pirelli SF3 never disappointed me under any conditions. I can say it's a tire you can buy without hesitation, especially on wet and dry surfaces. I also tried it on snowy ground. As someone who previously used the Continental TS870, I was able to achieve quite satisfactory results on snowy ground with the SF3 as well. I used it for about 15,000 km. I think it's a short-lived tire, and the wear is noticeable. But this is not something to be overly concerned about, because tires that you plan to use for 5 to 7 years harden over time and lose their properties. At that time, you think the tires are not worn out, but a tire that has lost its properties means a safety risk. For that reason, I say let it wear out and let's buy a new one. My advice to those considering this tire is that if the winter seasons are mostly rainy and cold, go for the Pirelli SF3; if it's going to be used in snowy and icy conditions, I would recommend the Michelin CrossClimate or the Continental TSM870. They cannot compete with the SF3 on dry and wet surfaces.

Spin too easily in the wet, or occasionally in the damp or dry. Disappointed with wear as I usually get at least 30,000 out of tires on UK roads (50,000 once on Michelins)

Prior to these Falken FK520, I had Michelin primacy3, and they where always loud. God but loud. These are still quiet, normaly tires get louder when older, Will see how they turn out.
These tires perform very well in basically every condition, higway/autobahn from Sweden to Italy, through the Austrian alps, on Italian dirt roads in Sarteano, as well as in 40c on aoutobahn, impressed.
Drivning a heavy w213, the wear has been very ok, the rear is wearing faster than the front, wich is normal on a rwd. Tire sides a strong enough for a heavy car.
I can recomend these tires for everyone, who dares to be diffrent and not buy tires that makes the most commercial. These are realy good value for money, I tried them up to 175km/h, steady as a rock.
So if you have a Merc,w213, these will be a perfect match.
