Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tire tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Given 90% while driving a Peugeot 3008 (225/50 R17) on a combination of roads for 38,000 miles
Very good value for money for my Peugeot 3008 2.0 HDi 163 which wears out all 4 tires at the same time. I did 38,000 km before reaching the indicator.

Given 61% while driving a Ford Fiesta Titanium X Turbo MHEV A (195/50 R16) on mostly motorways for 1 average miles
Good value for money. They're hard and noisy, so I wouldn't use them again. Keep in mind I was wearing Michelin tires. For cost reasons, I downgraded the quality, and it's noticeable.

Given 73% while driving a Ford Fiesta ST180 (205/40 R17) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
This review is after 3 years of usage. Kind of hard driving on Fiesta ST all time. First two years was kinda good comparing to Barum Bravuris, especially on wet conditions. But now when it is 5mm left and 3 years past, it acts not very good. Become very noisy and harsh, very fast overheating and as soon it happens it lose all grip almost (but still safe if drive normally). Good point it survived 2 track days without damage and overall treadwear is slow, but loosing grip very fast and starts screaming even on low speeds. Also general comfort after 3 years is lost, it feel plastic now and very hard on road. I got Su1 on my audi last time, it was same scenario, while new they are good, after years it lost it characteristic signifiably

Given 93% while driving a Mazda 6 Tourer 2.2D Sport (225/45 R19) on a combination of roads for 3,000 spirited miles
Amazing tire, driven 3000km round trip in all kind of conditions, no complaints, very quiet. Cheap but great quality for a chinese produced tire by Korean company.

Put them on for 30,000km. Signs of wear shown around 27,000. No complaints for the price. Reliable for dry and wet. Will buy again.

Given 86% while driving a Honda Civic EG (195/50 R15) on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
I have these tires on my d15b EG Civic for 2 years now. I use these tires on the street and I have tracked them twice.
Dry Grip: On the track, the Nfera SU4 has good dry grip and is very predictable. Perfect for beginner enthusiasts.
Wet Grip: No experience on wet track. Good grip on normal wet driving conditions in the city.
Comfort: I can't comment much on that because my car has a gutted interior and all road noise is being overpowered by the exhaust noise.
Wear: The wear on the tires after 2 years is still pretty good. I use this car only around 2-3 times a week.

Overall these are great tires for the money. Perfect for both city and track use. Would definitely buy again.

First set bought year 2020, It was good all the way. Year 2024, changed another set just over the weekend. The product over the price, I have no complaint. This is comparable to Eagle F1, but for half the price only.

Given 93% while driving a Volvo v70 D5 (225/50 R18) on a combination of roads for 18,000 average miles
After reading the reviews I decided to buy this tire and I am extremely happy with the choice. The tire feels very grippy, wet handling is also very manageable. The only negative thing is about my choice in tire size, as now I would like a wider tire. However, given the 225 width its still a very confidence giving tire.

Given 88% while driving a (195/55 R15) on mostly motorways for 2,000 average miles
After reading all the positive feedbacks of this value brand tires (Korean brand but manufactured in China), decided to try 2 pieces in the front swapping 1 year old Sportiva Compact to the rear on my workhorse (30km highways and 10km city driving daily). After using it for 1.5 month during a monsoon season in Malaysia, I would say it is a very good tire with a small price tag - highly recommended for general use.

Given 73% while driving a Nissan Teana 2.5 (225/45 R17) on mostly motorways for 3,000 easy going miles
First of all, I apologize about the use of English that I may not be able to use very well. I use Nissan Teana l33 2.5 xv Thailand road surface.(There is only summer and rainy season without snow.) Driving style will mainly use Cruise Control driving, not driving at full speed, it's 130 kilometers per hour. Most use a travel speed of 110 kilometers per hour. Before switching to nexen su 4 tires, I was using Bridgestone t500A tires, one of which had a leak when driving long distances upcountry. So I changed to 1 presa brand tire with tradewear at 280. After driving Bridgestone for 50,000 kilometers, it appeared that the front left tire started to swell when going to change the oil. So changed to nexen su 4 tires from reviews on this website. Found that this tire is clearly louder than Bridgestone t500a, it is more stiff. sound worse Keep road joints worse but with a relatively cheap price In terms of value, it's okay because nexen Su4 can replace 2 sets of Bridgestone t500 a. Dry and Wet = 8 Road Feedback = 6 Handling = 8 Wear = 7 Comfort = 6 Buy again= 8

Given 90% while driving a Toyota Vios (195/55 R15) on a combination of roads for 18,000 spirited miles
I was skeptical at first about these because where I got them the tires themselves were made in China, but to my surprise in the beginning. The comfort levels were the best I ever had even comparing to previous Michelin XM2s. Then next came the grip, I immediately drove 200km+ traveling the highway and the grip was good in both dry and wet, even before the tires was worn in the grip was good enough for my Toyota Vios(Yaris Sedan) to go up to very spirited speeds 150km/h+ even in the wet. I had them on for about 2 years now with almost 30,000km mileage and sure enough the shallower threads are starting to wear away, but no noticeable reduction in grip. Honestly for this price, this tire should be worth much more praise. Do not judge a tire by it's price and country of origin. Well done Nexen.
