245/40 R18 Tires

Good grip - really deal well with the car - although they do wear out pretty fast - always been an issue on that car, especially if wheel alignments missed.

These were a big improvement over the Pilot Sport 4 I had on previously, I got about 3000 miles more out of them - though they still wore very quickly, that's high performance tires for you. As with those the grip levels were insane. NVH definitely increased as the tires wore down.
Most of my driving is town and country, with some highway - quite a bit of spirited driving on winding country backroads. New Zealand is pretty wet too, so a lot of wet driving. I never had these tires in the snow as it doesn't snow this far north, but did drive them on icy roads and grip was poor, but very predictable.
After they wore out I decided to switch to an all season tire and fitted a set of BF Goodrich Advantage Control - and that is when I noticed how harsh and crashy the PS5 was in comparison. The new tires suit the Lexus better as a comfortable cruiser, even if they don't offer anywhere near the performance.
I think I'd buy these again for a different, sportier car though. They are fantastic for spirited driving.

For performence - perfect
For comfort and noise - ok
For feedback - very good
For wear - ok if the car is not too powerful
For wet handling - perfect

If u want tire for performence at all cost this is the tire you, but u have to be ready to sacrifce everything else in the face of comfort, ,fuel consumption and definetly wear. The tire is planted to the road. I have 285/30 r20 on other car withe RWD and 700 newton meters and the wear there was catastrophic. But on this size 245/40 r 18 with RWD but 350 newtons the wear is accebtable.Definetly recomend hand down.

I put a pair of these tires on the rear of a Mercedes C220d. I didn't record the mileage but checked my MOT mileage 2 months after fitting and showed 55k. 14 months later, current mileage is 64k and just had an advisory on the MOT to change as they are down to 2mm across the center. My driving is a 7 mile commute to work mixed with some motorway driving. I have tire pressure monitoring and the recorded pressure is as advised by MB so not over inflated. Really disappointed with these tires and will not buy again.

I'm using the tires on my Audi A4. The grip from the tires decreases on very hot asphalt. The wet grip is really nice. The steering response and feedback are great. Even though I've driven 40,000km, the tires still feel like they're only halfway worn. I will probably use them comfortably up to 60,000.

I switched on the front form the original Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3. I knew that it is a better tire but afraid to suffer high noise level. It was proven to be as quit as the GY but superior handling. I am driving a front wheel drive car which puts high pressure on the front axel. The Michelin is proving to handle it very well.

Consistentli good in all sumer condisens gripy with good feedbeck on a twisty road

phenomenal braking , was just able to stop in time before contacting the vehicle Infront of me on a highway log jam. Vehicle behind me did not have the same breaking capabilities and i did get rear ended. Very engaging driving experience too
