The EcoContact 6 came stock on my BMW G31, and I didn't enjoy it at all. While it was acceptable in the dry and good for fuel economy, the wet grip and braking were terrible. The ride comfort left a lot to be desired, too. I switched to proper summer (Conti PremiumContact 7) and winter (Michelin Alpin 5) tires as soon as possible.

The PremiumContact 7 offers a great balance of touring longevity, comfort, and sufficiently precise handling to keep you safe at higher speeds and in unexpected situations. These tires provide near-perfect grip across various conditions, performing exceptionally well on both dry and wet roads. On the other hand, they can get a bit noisy on rough surfaces.
The Alpin 5 is a reliable, comfortable tire that is perfect for European winters with lots of rain but little snow and ice. I mainly use them for city driving and on the autobahn at speeds up to 200 km/h when conditions allow, and I really enjoy the ride.
Very poor rubber compound -- had very little grip/traction in wet and especially snowy conditions.
These tires emit a noticeable low frequency droning noise above 60-70 km/h. I got my bearings checked, alignment and balancing done again to no avail. None of my previous tires which include P0, CPC6, CSC7 and Hankook ION Evos exhibited the same behavior on the same car,
On a par with Continental DWS06 in wet and dry handling.

Excellent tire overall, at the 4th year lost some grip on wet, what only means that burnouts became possible - quite telling, at 30k miles 5mm tread left, sidewalls are tad too soft for mountain beating but for highway it is fantastic
