Yes, all UHP GT Radial tires have rim protection. It's not as big as some of the Bridgestone and Pirelli offerings, but it's there. Show all questions (2)

Extremely quiet, comfortable to drive, the feel is much better than on previous tires, maneuverability and safety at higher speeds, the rest is yet to come....

Using this tire on my wife's Ford Fiesta Sport. I have GY Asy5 on my own car. The Asy5 is much better I need to state. Even if the numbers on the reviews showing quite similar results. The GT Radial is a fair option, good value for the money, solid mid-range tire. It feels a bit hard to me, fast cornering makes understeer and comfort is also behind the Asy5. But not bad overall, better than Nankang AS2+ I had before.

Great value for money sports tire, with very good grip levels in the dry and wet. Vastly reduced hydroplaning frequency, and has the ability to take sharp corners at much higher speeds compared to lesser brands. Some increased tire noise compared to more expensive brands. Highly recommended for the price point.
