Hello why two same sava intensa uhp 2 have different EU tire marking and are twice as expensive?

Often tires get updated mid life for various reasons which can also improve the label grade. It might be one of them is out of stock so showing a higher price.

I had them for 2 seasons on my 2012 Peugeot 308 2.0 HDI. Initially they performed very well, but I experienced a massive drop in performance about a month into the second season.

The car started sliding, and the wheels would spin with no grip even under the slightest acceleration. Braking performance degraded as well, with the ABS light constantly flashing at mid to higher braking force. All of this was most noticeable on quite hot days and hot roads. Wet performance degraded too, with similar symptoms.

It might be just my set that experienced this, but before this I had no complaints about their performance. My only complaint was the noise level (quite a loud tire).

No long-term feedback, as the car was sold with these tires included.

Comparing to other ones I was suprised with quality and durability. I was driving even on Nurburgring with them, of course they are not sporty tires for such price, but still not bad. After that I was driving with screw in one tire from Stuttgart to Zakopane 1000+ km on autobahn and nothing happened. In service I repaired the tire and still driving to this day (2022->2026)
I did more than 80k km with them, its very good result. Never been unsure about driving in wet conditions, long roads and shitty roads like in ukraine for example with big potholes.
Noise levels are acceptable in comparsion to Yokohama.

4 seasons in, and very pleased with this tire.
Over 30.000kms with them and they still look good and have plenty of tread left.

Dry grip is very good, as well as braking. In dry corners, the car stays pointed with little to no unusual behavior, gives a very safe feeling, although they may show some understeer on the limit.

Wet grip is good, wet braking could feel a bit safer. Aquaplaning is good compared to other tires of similar price.

Noise is good, but not as good as its winter brother Sava Eskimo. Not able to give a comment on comfort since im running on 45 profile but subjectively its okay. Wear is better than expected.

Definitely gets a recommend.

For such a soft carcass, quite loud.
We are from ex-YU, so there is a bias towards Sava tires. Their winter ones S3 and HP2 are good, but UHP2 are pure trash.
Buy something else.

The price of the tires is low and they are made in Germany, but they are considered harsh and make annoying noises when driving the car. I will not buy this type again.

I’ve had these fitted to my 9-3 SportCombi TTiD for the last 20,000km and am very impressed for the money. Dry grip is excellent and from a standing start even a full power start barely illicits a chirp which is impressive for a twin turbo diesel FWD with an open diff. Wet grip and braking is decent and while it is easy to reach the tire’s limit during wet cornering the feedback is such that you’re well aware it will let go before you get in trouble. My biggest criticism is the dry handling, while it isn’t bad per say, the limit of grip especially through a spirited run up some mountain twisties is relatively easy to reach, that’s the biggest downfall in this price category compared to your Pilot Sport or ContiSport type tires, the limit is that much lower however, for the price it is a very competent tire, would happily buy again.

Garbage tier casing/sidewall, softer than all touring tires that I've used. I think i have never seen anything like this, maybe they are reusing their winter tire casing on all of their lineup to cut up costs. To market this tire as high performance is misleading at best. These came fitted on my Jaguar S-Type 3.0 by previous owner. I installed coilovers and bushings on the car, and I'm throwing these tires away because they ruin it. They roll so much on the sidewall that you can visually see wear on half if not most of the sidewall (can this even be a safety issue even, tire coming off of rim mid turn?). I'm used to Yokohama V105S on my other car, but at this point a Pirelli Cinturato touring tire would be an upgrade. Comfort is good as you can expect from such a soft case, but just buy a touring tire if that's what you want.

This is my second review of this tire, few thousand kilometers later. Everything that was good stayed that way. Grip, amazing, both dry and wet. Wet braking really great, dry braking does not even need mentioning. Now, handling, it can be better when compared to the previous continentals but, those were slightly wider with smaller sidewall. That being said, i don't drive aggressively to bother me that much, it is really decent, might actually be a good handling tire with proper dimensions. Comfort is 10/10, these are also XL tires, SL could be even better. To sum it up, i don't think this can be categorized as a UHP tire, it might be a touring tire with a hint of sportiness. Mine are made in Germany and compared to the Goodyears EF1A6 (made in Slovenia) on the other car are so much better with wear and the sidewall is a lot darker - better dust and dirt resiliency. If i can name some negative about this tire is that the sidewall design is a little cartoon-ish. Better design and these are world class. At this price, with this performance, i advice everybody to give them a try.

I went from 235/45 R17 Continental WinterContact TS 850 P to 225/50 R17 Intensa UHP2. The Sava is comfortable, silent and the grip (dry) is amazing. The main reason for changing the dimensions is comfort and getting more sidewall. I can't comment on the wet grip since I haven't yet tried the tire on a wet road but the dry grip as previously said is great. The first thing I noticed was that when going into a corner, the initial feedback is a little understeery but then it follows really nicely. At first, the breaking was odd to get used to but when i had to do an emergency break it hooked immediately, stationary in a second. I drive a rwd car that losses traction on the rear wheels with half a throttle but with these tires i have not lost traction yet (have not launched it with full throttle though). The sava gives me more confidence of going into a corner with higher speed than the Continental (winter tire). I can't say anything about the wear yet, we'll see how it goes. For me it was between the Goodyear EF1 AS6 and this one, and considering I wanted an experimental dimension i went with the cheaper tire, which was 60% less than the Goodyear and they are made in the same factory. It was a no brainer and as of now, I'd buy it again.
