Daihatsu Perodua Myvi Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Continental UltraContact UC6 given 79% (195-55-15-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 average miles
The tires are comfortable but a bit soft.Road noise seems a bit quite than CC6. The grip is awesome in dry and also wet, except cornering at wet tarmac. At 50 - 60% tread remaining, I'm start feeling this tire a bit sliding during wet road surface Treadwear at 380,it last for 25K miles(3 years) until it reach the replace mark.A solid tires performance at it's price range. For me,PS3 a bit better than UC6

I didn't expect too much for this budget cheap tire but after using it for a year i think this is one of the best budget tire available in the market. Driving in wet road conditions with confidence and feel better than any mid range branded tire.

too easy to wear out. i always drive above 120km/h-150km/h, so coming into corner at 80km/h is not reliable, coming out of corner, traction is good. noise is real low. compare to CC5, the noise is very much better. mileage on my car is around 50k before it wears out.

This tire is good for normal city stop and go driving and some occasional long distance driving SIDEWALL is soft and good for bumps and ride comfort but not for lateral load THREAD is grips ok in dry and wet conditions doest aquaplane as must as long as you stay below 90kmh Tire reach really fast to tire pressure changes Its a narrow thread pattern for lower roling resistance and narrow tires cuts through water better , but thread narrow than advertised contributes to lower grip As stated this tire is good for city driving not for spirited driving If you go above 100kmh , this tire sails like a boat, numb respond ,low traction, sidewall too soft for high speed corner it kills your confidence doesn't handle heat pretty well, thread deterioration or chipping when exposed to extreme heat form spirited driving or long distance driving or even too much stationary steering turn when parking(lady driver) Continental tires often have a separation line at the middle of the tire thread that separate outer dry thread's and inner wet thread's rubber compound , can be clearly seen when worn down, and they chip easily when introduced to heat especially the outer dry thread

Used the tire for 3 years about 60000km and still got thread left..but due to chamber problem, had to replace early.. very comfortable on ride but have to be careful during corners road due to side wall quite soft. Dry grip very excellence as well as wet during tropical rain in Malaysia. Rm500 for 4 tires including fitting. Value for money

Car initially came with Goodyear Assurance TripleMax(185/55 R15), it was hopeless, both wet and dry, not to mention that its noisy and it wears fast (33k kms). Changed out for these Continental ComfortContact CC6 (195/55 R15), and the difference can be immediately felt when it comes to road noise and also comfort level. Can't comment on the wear level yet, as I just got them replaced. Handles well on dry and wet, not superb, but adequate. Now awaiting for the long term usage before any wear can be seen

Goodyear nct5 175/65/r14 is a good tire for my perodua myvi icon (daihatsu sirion 2015).. very suitable for compact car.. very good in dry road and good in wet road.. good in handling.. still can hear the noise from outside but not too loud depend on road condition.. for wear and tear it last for 40000km..

Been using these tires for a year and clocked close to 25,000km. It's a disappointing tire for the price i paid and could have gotten the CC6 by adding a few RM. I think the durability is good, but the grip in wet road is not there especially when going above 90km/h. The noise control claimed by them, i felt it's not true. It's noisy and i compared it to my previous CC5. II recently rotated the tire and found out that the rear is not even and had to stick to current set. It's really frustrating to have these tires and can't wait for next weeks tire change.
