Questions and Answers for the Hankook Ventus Prime2
Ask a questionPlease could you give me rough estimate on how many miles I should be fit to get out of front tires on 2016 Hyundai tuscon 2016 ? , best regards
Is this type of tire how much does it take the cold weather? I use it now in winter. But here is no snow only rainy weather. Should I change to all-season or winter tires or it will be okay?

Review Summary
Based on 51 user reviews
Drivers describe the Hankook Ventus Prime2 as a comfortable, often very quiet touring tire with generally confident dry grip and stable everyday handling, especially for the price. Many higher-scoring reviews also report solid braking and predictable behavior in both dry and wet conditions. However, a sizeable minority report inconsistent performance in the wet (especially as the tire wears) along with vague steering/feedback and highly variable tread life, with some experiencing unusually fast or uneven wear.
Strengths
- Low road noise / quiet running (for many users)
- Comfortable ride quality
- Strong dry grip
- Braking and general handling for daily driving
- Good value for money
Areas for Improvement
- Wet grip can be inconsistent (notably in rain
- Standing water
- Or as the tire wears)
- Variable or fast treadwear
- Sometimes uneven/shoulder wear
- Vague steering feel / limited road feedback and confidence at the limit
Top 3 Hankook Ventus Prime2 Reviews
Bought them used for 60 eur, amazing condition with 6.5mm tread.
Driveable but did not really like them
The only downside was the sides of the tires wore out fairly quickly due to the curved profile of the tread and they had to be replaced even though there was plenty of rubber left in the centers. Alignment was fine - got a wheel alignment done when the new replacement tires went on and there was no adjustment needed according to the report!
