Hyundai Tucson Tire Review Highlights
excellent grip on snow and ice , better grip than blizzaks 5 when cornering . tried them in moutain roads by -12 degrees C , going uphill (10%) on 5cm snow: no problem. I used Konig chains in 20cm snow because the snow plow hadn't cleared the way ...

Great tire so far. I am now using them for my second season. When purchased, I opted for 17" which is -2 from OE for my 19" tire size - the result is the same size that would be found on the base gasoline-powered trim level of my car (a 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid). Asthetically, the taller profile of the tires makes my car look a bit more aggressive and ready to pounce on the snow.
During my first season, I found the Vikings were as quiet as my OE Michelin Primacy tires. The tires also provided an unexpectedly slightly firmer ride vs. the Primacy tires, but this firmness seems to have softened up a bit in my second season. I'm running the tires at 36 psi. These tires have great grip in the snow - the grip loosens up predictably if you are going too quickly while accelerating in a corner. The car handles very well in the dry and wet.
The only downside I have noticed is that my fuel economy is slightly worsened by maybe 0.3 L/100 km more? Despite that, I highly recommend this tire!

Bought 2 Kormoran SUV for the front of my Hyundai Tuscon and couldn't be more pleased for the price. Confident driving, responsive and positive in both wet and dry on both local and motorways. Have driven getting on for 3000 miles with them now, wear isn't noticeable (to the point I had to question my own tread depth gauge!, but seem as good as new)
Highly recommend these
Highly recommend these

These tires came standard on my Tucson. Admittedly I was rather sceptical on how they would perform. Having said that, I have been pleasantly surprised. I live on the Sunshine Coast and have found these tires to be very good. In both dry and wet roads the grip levels have been as good as some of the European tires I have had. Having said that, it is a Tucson and I'm not on a race track pushing the car to its limits. Still, despite heavy down pours I did not detect any aquaplaning nor did the tires let go. Comfort wise, I found them to be quite, again on par with other makes and smooth. Steering wise, on dead centre they felt a little vague on the motorway but that could also have been the electric steering on the car. That I won't know until I can compare them with another brand. They are now due to be replaced having done 55k on them.

Great tire wear side walls to thin and soft make handling poor

Great grip both in wet and dry. Performance competes with tires at twice the price! Have them fitted to the front axle on my Hyundai Tuscon, covered approx 2000 miles now and tread depth has hardly changed from the original 8mm they came with. Planning to put a pair on the rears as soon as they need replacing.

Good tire overall, dry grip is top notch, handles hard braking and fast corners really well, wet grip is also really good, has good water dispersion on long but not too deep puddles tho i feel like it could a bit better on deeper ones. handles heat well on a 1.8ton suv and keeps really well the weight transfer, driven so far 15k km and its showing some signs of use but it's holding up really well.

OK tires at best. Wears out very very fast, I'm at 3/32 after 20,000miles.

I have to be honest with this one. Been waiting for this since it got announced. Before I had a Continental ASC2 but they got used and in 22 April of 2025, I replaced the Continentals with Goodride All Season Elite Z-401 245/45/R19 102W until the CC3 Sports were available. In July I replaced the Goodride with the CC3S and mane was I disappointed. I have only drove the first 500-600 km but the initial feeling is that they are under CC2, Continental and even under the performance of the Z-401. Tested on DRY and WET but since it's July 2025 I cannot talk about Wear, Snow or Ice.
First of all:
Dry grip/braking it's a 7 for me compared to the Continentals (9)
Wet it's kind of a disaster, even the Z-401 is better.
Road feedback isn't a very important factor for me, I know these are sports so I give them a 8, because of rigidity.
Handling, I think its better than anything else I had, better then Continental, CC2, Goodride, Goodyear. Also you can steer very nice.
Comfort, I don't know what to say. It's kind of an average.
Would I buy again? Right now after the first impression, I wouldn't. After 40.000 km? Who knows? Also the 6.1mm isn't giving me high hopes for wearing, but will see in time.
Overall my first impression is that I would go for the Continental AllSeasonContact 2 or the Goodyear 4Seasons Vector gen 3. Second would be CC2 then after the CC3S. I cannot tell anything about the CC3 since it's not available in my country Romania/EU.
Overall: Disappointed by the price/performance ratio. Maybe at their end of the lifespan will get a better opinion.

Nfera primus dry and wet grip is very good and comfort and wear rate is also good but my only concerned is that after 3years of using it, if forms a tiny crack in the upper side ot the tire and its not jst one tire, all four of them.
