The EfficientGrip range has low rolling resistance at its core, and I believe most of the sizes are marked "EV Ready", so if you can find the correct size and load index for your vehicle the Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV would make a good all round tire.

Essentially, yes. The Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV and EGP2 are very similar tires in performance qualities.

The EGP2SUV is a summer SUV tire which means its performance in the wet when cold will be reduced and the tire will have very little performance in the snow.
Can you compare good year efficient grip 2 suv and continental cross contact lx2 models? Is it worth it to replace continentals with good year for city use?

You could check this test to see the LX2 compared to the T005 which is usually similar in rolling resistance to the EG2SUV.

Excellent tire with good grip on the wet.The only downside is maybe that is little bit louder but that can be also subjective.

Initially not impressed...had a swift blowout type puncture in two weeks and a couple of others later on. Side walls seemed weak and easily damaged by the kerb. Ride comfort grip and noise levels were good as was economy. I also used them on proper African 4x4 tracks and they did very well.

Eventually right front had a slow leak I could not locate and given mileage I changed them for Falcon Wildpeak trails which are superb. Better comfort, durability and very little noise or increased fuel consumption.

Best in class for an midsize SUV but when it reaches to 3 years also 85000 the tires started to slide it became hardened don’t stick to the road when accelerating also because I parked my car outside in the sun most of the days .

It’s best all around highway summer SUV tires after hitting 80000 km tires start to lose grip in acceleration from Stand still , after hitting high speed it’s very good handling and still strong , year I bought it 2023 same year manufacture.

Had these on for 30k miles and still got 5mm of tread left. Great in the wet and dry and very quiet. Improved my mpg vs previous tires as well.

I’ve been using these tires on my SUV, and they have truly impressed me. Their handling is excellent on both dry and wet roads, which is essential for navigating the often damp Irish weather. They aren’t a sports tire, but as a touring tire, they are fantastic – smooth and quiet.

After 12,000 km, the tread has only worn down about 1 mm, so the wear looks good to me. In terms of comfort, they soak up bumps far better than the Premium Contact 6 I had previously. Aquaplaning resistance is also noticeably improved, giving me more confidence on rainy days. Overall, this is a quiet, comfortable tire, perfect for long drives. I’d absolutely buy them again!
