Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tire tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Top 3 Toyo Proxes CF2 SUV Reviews

Given 82% while driving a Renault (245/45 R20) on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
Good and quiet tires!
Definitely an upgrade from my previous Pirelli Scorpion Zero… that is a rubbish tires!
Noise from the tires had significantly reduced, wet and dry condition is much better too.

Given 87% while driving a Hyundai ix35 (215/70 R16) on a combination of roads for 50,000 easy going miles
Had these tires for 5 summer seasons (DOT 2515), and i am happy to say they are wonderfull. The dry grip is excelent, you really have to push hard to break traction. Wet grip is ok, i would say on a spirited turn they might break contact, but no aquaplaning ever detected. The road noise is manageble, atleast a lot better than my winter tires (yokohama g075). After about 80000km i stil have ~4mm of thread, but no rubber cracking or any other problems.

Given 80% while driving a Kia Motors Sportage (225/55 R19) on a combination of roads for 4,000 average miles
Bought these after reading reviews and Toyo's advertisement. My car feels a lot more comfortable with far better handling in stock rim 19". Good grip in the dry and wet weather. Low frequency rolling noise on rough road, but quiet on smooth tarmac. Looks good on the wear after 4,000 miles. Overall performance is good. Great value for money M.I.J product. I am happy with my purchased.

Given 84% while driving a Subaru Forester (225/60 R17 H) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Early days but Quiet and smoother riding than the previous fitted tires, they have Just handled the IOM roads (Mountain & Back farm lanes) in the very wet and in the dry very nicely, Too early to comment on wear but not really bothered as long as they continue to grip well.

Check out how the BEST all seasons tires perform against premium summer and winter tires!
Given 90% while driving a Subaru Forester (225/60 R17 H) on a combination of roads for 20 average miles
The OEM tire, YOKOHAMA Geolandar G91F, was not so satisfactory . Toyo Proxes CF2 SUV has greatly improved the highway drive stability and comfort. It is a great tire and I will surely buy it again.

This is my second set of Proxes CF2 and they're comfortable and quiet. Not so happy with wet grip anymore, will probably try some Continentals next
