Very bad experience about these tires. In the dry, in normal condition and drive, with no pressure, you don't feel safe. In rainy conditions you just pray for life. For sure, I will not buy again.

Toyo EU label data
40 of the 100 tires on record carry EU label data. These are the range's label headliners, using each tire's best available size figures.
A Best wet grip
4 tires reach EU wet grip class A. The highest scoring:
B Lowest rolling resistance
The most fuel efficient choice: 4 tires reach rolling resistance class B. The highest scoring:
68dB Quietest tires
The quietest tires in the range are labelled from 68 dB external noise:
- Toyo Observe S 944 8.6
- Toyo NanoEnergy 3 7.9
- Toyo Proxes R32 7.5
Label values come from the EU EPREL database and vary by size - the figures here are each tire's best declared size. Wet grip and rolling resistance run from class A (best) to E; noise is the measured drive-by figure. A good label is a floor, not a verdict: the tests and rankings above tell you far more.

The most recent reviews, in their own words
unfortunately the pattern on the Toyo Proxes CF2 pick up and follow grooves in the road which is especially dangerous on a motorways when they've been cutting in new sections of road with old. the tire wear was also quite poor with feathering on the outer edges too. the initial 10k was on the rear (Fiestas don't wear the rears) and about 11k on the front. had the tracking checked but no issues.
I've now got Kumho Ecsta HS52 195/55/15 on all 4 corners which is a better tire in every aspect - they are supposed to be a little noisier but we can't tell any difference, fuel economy and wet grip is about the same but dry grip is somewhat better and there's no nasties either.
These tires came on my car and they're fine. For winter I'd toss them immediately I drove them in a bad winter storm and I survived but I'd be lying if I said I was confident. ice braking was poor, snow braking and grip was fine but nothing special. I can't speak as well for the dry and wet grip, I can make them chip fairly easily but I don't typically push tires in these considerations so I can't speak for it confidentially. They don't seem to wear I've put a good amount of kms in them and I've even done a autoX on them and they're still fine with lots of life left.
The Toyos offer phenomenal grip in the dry. Used both on track, and spirited driving on twisting switchback roads.
There have been only two instances where these have encountered rain and immediately, I backed off the speed; I would not recommend driving enthusiastically when in the wet.
The other noticeable characteristic is the road hum when driving on the motorway.
I would buy again for the sheer confidence these tires provide in the dry; however, their lifespan is the only negative.
Nice tires, on the 2004 Rav4 with permanent awd, no issues. A bit noisy, but still acceptable. The car's insulation is not up to modern standards.
No snowflake, but good in snow.
Wear is excellent!
Two years in and they are holding up well. Great for flooded roads but surprisingly wet roads not so good. They float a bit. Dry roads are great but mud and snow = wow perfect! First year had lots of light mud use and the rear drive never kicked in at all. Last year we had some snow and went hooligan in a country car park booting it for fun and almost never lost traction. will def by again for confidence .

Run Toyo tires?
Review your tires and help the next driver choose. It takes about five minutes, and every rating on this page came from a driver who took them.
Where this data comes from
Rankings combine independent test results with owner reviews submitted through this site, each naming the car, the tire, the size and the distance covered. Reviews are checked by hand before publication, and the page rebuilds automatically as new evidence arrives.
About the TR Score
The Tire Reviews Score rates each tire out of 10 using independent test results and the full body of owner reviews, weighted by how much evidence backs them.
Who does the testing
Every test published as a Tire Reviews test is run by Jonathan Benson, who has been testing tires independently since 2007.
