Cheap, good on snow, short dry braking distance.
Slightly reduced grip on wet roads, moderate comfort, high rolling resistance.
Recommended.

I use my CR-V daily for work and pleasure - work involves some off-road use (20%) - unmade tracks, muddy fields, hilly terrain etc. I chose these TOYO Open Country W/T Winter Tires as a compromise over All Terrain tires because they seemed great value for money and reviews were, on the whole, positive. 5,000 miles on and I'm very happy with them - roadwork is absolutely fine, no issues, albeit they are slightly noisy but not in any way intrusive. Off-road they have not let me down and I feel confident that they will get me in, and out, of where I have to go. Tire wear so far, through spring / summer, is negligible after 5,000 miles - approximately 4K on road / 1K off-road. Would I buy again? Definitely.

Fitted to a 2001 Land Rover Discovery Td5. I've done 30,000 miles on these tires and there's still good tread depth although I'll be looking at changing (for the same model tire) in the next year. Despite what is said, I find they perform well in both winter and summer (up to 35C ambient) and don't wear rapidly as I feared.
I recommend these tires whole heartedly.

The tires are great. I live in Scottish West Coast Highlands and they are superb in wet conditions here. They were excellent in recent snowy and icy weather making the Freelander 2 unstoppable. Very reassured on the road when it was snowy/slushy. In the dry weather the tires have been fine as well. Can't comment on wear yet as they haven't been on the car that long. But I would recommend them or the conditions here.
