The most recent reviews, in their own words
The tires provide excellent handling and grip in both dry and wet conditions. There is absolutely no tire noise on the highways, although if the asphalt quality is poor, some noise returns. The ride is very comfortable and not too firm. I rotated the tires from front to back at 10,000 km, and I haven't noticed any wear at this point. Overall, these tires offer great value for the price, and I feel very confident in both braking and cornering!
I have had many different brands of studded tires, then I tried these and was impressed! Other nicely patterned tires got snow stuck in the grooves and became slippery, but these have a rough pattern so the snow didn't stick as much and continued to have good grip.
These tires are great. I researched for months trying to get as much data as possible about them. The tread design is very similar to the now defunct Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. But these are way more comfortable than any Michelin Pilot Sport model. I also used to have the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500, and those heat cycled and aged out before I could wear out the tread. The Firestones albeit older technology had the grip of an all season if I’m being honest. I got them from a guy off Facebook marketplace for cheap, so it was worth it.
However these Falkens are a different story. I can feel the rear end of my car “track” into a turn better. Kinda like my old Continental EC DW (v1). Of course since they are new they will feel better than my old tires. I don’t commute far so I never wear out my tread. So the Falken’s make the sensible purchase. I can’t comment on their performance in rain or sow bc it’s been nothing by an everlasting hot summer here in SoCal in 2026.
A quiet tire, very predictable/forgiving at the limit, especially in the rain, with a soft sidewall. These miles were covered with spirited driving on winding roads.
I never reached the end of these tires life. Mostly on the front then about 5k on back they were down to 4.5 mm at 20K miles - Exchanged the car after that
I never go below 3mm anyway and only do about 6k miles so hard wearing is a waste for me
