Passenger Car All Season Touring Tires Tire Review Highlights

Kumho Solus 4S HA32 rated 81% while driving a Suzuki Swift 1,2 2013
Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
I’ve had these tires now for about 5000 miles now and I must say I’m very pleased. The wear seems better so far than the reviews say and I don’t baby the car.
An even split of day to day runnings, moterway and b road blasts give me a good idea of what they’re capable of.
Dynamics of the car are stable and consistent, surprisingly communicative and you feel what they’re doing very well. In hotter weather when pushing on you can feel the tread through the steering getting pushed about so not the best but that’s really faster than you want to be going anyway. Expected for an all weather tire.

Driven in snow to and they do fantastic, very grippy and the wet performance is fantastic. Compared to my previous summer tires these are miles above with hydroplaning as well.

Overall would get again and couldn’t recommend more especially for the price.

Triangle SeasonX TA01 rated 86% while driving a Chevrolet Orlando
Driving on mostly town for 7000 spirited miles
Very good all-round 4 season tires. Bought two of them initially and got fuel consumption down by about 1 l/100km. Only downside is during wet asphalt in the summer when leaving from the spot with a kick sometimes they slip. One tire got a bit chunked on the edge but I drive over the tram line with little care and engage going over the curb every time I park because the parking spot is of such nature. I hit on wheel on the curb and even if the die of the tire peeled because of the impact and the rim got distorted it still held air very well for a couple of months. I kept that tire for the spare wheel.

Sava Sava All Weather rated 84% while driving a Ford Focus MK3
Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 easy going miles
Update after two years. I am delighted with these tires. Low fuel consumption, very good tread life...
I was pleasantly surprised with the snow grip (went through a snow blizzard). On highway speeds, low noise.
These tires are not for spirited drivers.

Toyo A23 rated 69% while driving a Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 factory
Driving on mostly country roads for 2019 average miles
Reliable Tire for Mixed Conditions – Solid Performer for Fleet Use

We've been using the Toyo A23 across a small fleet operating in both urban and rural environments. One of the standout features is its quiet and comfortable ride even at higher motorway speeds. Dry grip is solid and cornering stability is acceptable for a mid-range compound. Wet performance is decent, though not quite at premium-tier levels — but for its price, it delivers great value.https://tirevortex.com/mobile-coach-tire-services/

What makes it particularly suitable for long-term use is the tread longevity. We’ve clocked around 30,000 miles on some units with even wear, which is excellent for the weight they carry.

For anyone managing a transport business, I’d strongly recommend looking into Fleet Tire Maintenance for Coaches to maximise tire lifespan and ensure road safety — especially when combining it with reliable mid-range options like the Toyo A23.

Would I buy again? Definitely — especially for non-performance fleets and general use cases.

Rating (out of 10):

Radar Dimax 4 Season rated 80% while driving a Vauxhall Insignia CDTI SRI 160
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
Have previously used a mix of UHP (michelin, goodyear, conti) , Mid range (vreds) and good reviewed budgets (Barum, Matador, Nexen etc). Picked the Radar Dimax 4s as wanted a budget all season. Have done 15000 progressive miles on them on the fronts over winter and summer and down to 3mm. I like to test tires to their limits. Obviously not as good as the UHP Suummers but these have been a great budget all season option. If I drove normally I could probably have got 20-25k out of them easily. They were great down to about 4mm, then could feel them start to give a bit however when they went it was still controlled. Were great over winter aswell. Decent in dry, wet, and snow. Wouldn't hesitate buying again if wanting a budget.

BFGoodrich Advantage Control HT rated 80% while driving a Holden adventra
Driving on mostly town for 1000 easy going miles
Put a set of these (225/55R17 101W) on a Holden Adventra, have only done a few thousand kilometers so far but initial impressions are very good. They were the cheapest option of the real tire brands and with BF Goodrich being part of Michelin I figured they should be a decent tire. They have plenty of tread and full depth sipes which should help keep wet braking performance as they wear down. They feel plush/comfortable to drive on and I haven't had issues with traction in the dry or wet but keep in mind being driven on public roads and being an AWD car they haven't gotten anywhere near the limit. Noise levels are good, oddly I'd say they are quieter than average on smooth surfaces but slightly louder than average on coarse surfaces, by no means 'noisey' though. Fuel economy is about the same as the tires they replaced (a combined set of Zetum and Rapid tires approx 50% worn). Early days so cannot comment on treadwear, but the rating is 600. I was a little surpised that the UTQG traction rating is a 'B' but I'm not sure how much this means. Based on the performance I've seen to date I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, but in reality would probably try something different just for the sake of variety.

Kleber Quadraxer 3 rated 84% while driving a SEAT Leon 5F 1.0 TSI
Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 average miles
Bought these tires because they are really simular to the Michelin Crossclimate 2's. But a lot more affordable. I've driven the CC2's so I believe I can compare them quite well.

I can keep my review of the Quadraxer 3 quite short and just say this hand over heart: really just as good as Michelin Crossclimate 2 in all conditions. And actually better in wet & rainy conditions in terms of aquaplaning and grip.
Great in snowy conditions too.

Will they last as long as Michelin? Maybe. I've done 12.000 km on them and the wear on them is minimal.

Kleber Quadraxer 3 rated 77% while driving a Suzuki vitara s 1,4 boosterjet
Driving on mostly country roads for 30000 average miles
Kleber is part of the Michelin group, so it is easy to see how the technology found in the cross-climate has trickled down to this tire. I currently drive a Suzuki Vitara 2019, and the bulk of my drive is done by the wife commuting and my two big trips a year from Scotland to Italy or Poland.
Motorway driving is on par with many other tires; the wind noise coming from the car is always louder than the tires themselves, so no trouble there; you get just a wee bit less fuel efficiency overall (compared to the more expensive choice), but it is nothing to transcendental, on the dry they are as good as you can imagine, you can get the edge of the grip quick enough(most probably is the car been heavier than a hatchback) but is relatively easy to understand and current, they give a good road feel and absorb potholes quite well, on the wet they are great, having directional tread (similar to corossclimate) it helps to dissipate the water and they have never felt unsafe or lacking grip.
The same goes for the snow. I took the car to the Alps last year, and it was a breeze. Traction control never had to engage, and the drive felt smooth and safe.
I've driven almost 30.000 miles and still have more than 3mm left on the tread. I'll probably get another set unless I find something more interesting to try.

Landsail LS388 AS rated 69% while driving a Volvo S80 2.4 petrol
Driving on mostly motorways for 1000 easy going miles
Fitted these new on a 14 plate Picanto a few years back, thought they were fairly decent. Stuck some part worn LS388's on my old Volvo S80, so its a heavy thing; these tires are pretty decent, soak up imperfections in the road and handle well, so wouldn't mind sticking a new set of these on it in the future. Road feedback is 'meh' but wasn't expecting it to transform the ride.

If you have realistic expectations, obviously these tires aren't going to inspire confidence if you drive like a b*llend, decent traction for sensible driving; when it rains, use your common sense and slow down and you won't be caught out. Seen a review on here the owner of a Fiat 124 Spider fitted these onto it, and was suprised the traction isn't as good as tires that a 'sports car' should be fitted with like Michelins? Cheapskate. But yeah, cheap tires, use your common sense and they'll be fine.

Fullrun FRUN ONE rated 60% while driving a Suzuki Swift 1.5
Driving on a combination of roads for 8000 average miles
Decent tires for casual drivers, I drove with them aggressively and they do not slip unless pushed to the extreme, make a lot of noise and vibrations when on old roads, freshly laid road feels fine.

Very good tire for that price. Feel comfortable especially when cold on little snow. For summer also good without any noice when taking a turn. Summer here is 40c. Wear is excelent, after 20.000km looks like brand new
