Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tire tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Given 73% while driving a Chevrolet Nexia II, dohc 1,6 (185/70 R14) on mostly town for 38,000 spirited miles
I bought this all season tires after Kumho Solus to improve braking capacity of my car (sedan UzDaewoo nexia II). It's really good for dry and snowy roads. Very good even in icy roads. But unfortunately, it is very bad in wet surfaces! Do not recommend for rainy weather driving on asphalt. 3-4 hears of usage and more than 60 000 km

Given 56% while driving a Ford Focus MK1 (185/70 R14) on a combination of roads for 25,000 easy going miles
I had tried winter Debica tire on my office car and it was OK for a budget choice. Usually budget tires last no more than 3 years and then they deteriorate drastically. Knowing this I bought all-season tires for my personal car thinking I'll buy better ones(like Michelin for instance) later on. I saw reviews that this tire wet grip is bad, but I did not know how bad indeed it is. Once I even lost the track and went out of the road after slight curve with 25mp/h. The tire was at ~2.5 years of service and I knew I must be careful and I was quite familiar with the road. So on wet road this tire is awful - totally do not recommend it. You can drive your car but need to be extremely cautious if there is water. During heavy rain in mountain and if you descend for instance - drive veeery slowly. During summer it stays soft and it can sometimes "whistle" on curves. In snow (I have tried it quite rare though) it performs well. After one summer season some tiny cracks formed at the surface and after the second summer they got more and bigger. After 4 years of service the size of the grapple is still more than sufficient but the mixture compound cracks. So in my opinion this is quite poor choice for all-weather tire. It may be good in snow but snow melts to water in cities and it is very bad in wet conditions. I am still using it after 4 years since I drive at low speed, but probably after a month or two I will finally replace it.

Given 87% while driving a Chevrolet Spark (175/70 R14) on track for 25,000 easy going miles
I have bought this tire back in 2020, somewhere in Autumn. I found on the Internet that Debica is considered a budget tire, but it was the same price as Korean Nexen. I actually needed tires for winter, but the seller offered this one as it was all season. Right now, it is the middle of the summer and I don't have any complaints about the tire for the summer season. I am from Uzbekistan, so the summer is super dry, and hot somewhere degrees between 40-50 celsius. Anyway, I am also a new driver, but as a customer I am ok with this tire and would like to buy one for the next ride.

Given 43% while driving a Mercedes Benz c 220 cdi (195/65 R15 T) on mostly town for 25,000 spirited miles
I had no other tires on this car (Mercedes C 200 CDI), so can not compare. But I'm disappointed for their lifetime: under 20,000 miles.
When the tires were new, I drove well enough, but thoughtful on roads with 1-2 inches of snow. But this winter, through the city with a 1-inch layer of snow, I had no grip.
Moreover, a tire flank was deflected by less than 15,000 miles, but let's say it's bad luck.
