Not driven in snow or ice so cannot comment. I am on my second set both have done more than 20k miles. for a mud terrain they have good road manners and howl before sliding in dry but are prone to suddenly sliding on wet tarmac (like all MT tires). I do 50% road 30% gravel 10% rock and 10% mud. Generally these are very good MT tires but have stopped representing value at the available price point available in the UK. I have been offered some BFG MT for less per tire. I replaced with Maxxis Bighorn 764`s which are louder, The performance between the Maxxis and Cooper are similar overall. (but only done a few hundred miles to compare so far.) Note both sets cracked (to the point of UK MOT failure) in the sidewalls before wearing out. Both sets at around 5 years old.

What is a Mud Terrain tire?
Mud Terrain tires, marked M/T, are built for the hardest off road conditions: very large, widely spaced blocks that clear mud and grip rock, and heavily reinforced sidewalls. On the road they are the noisiest of the off road tires and give up grip in the wet and on ice, so they make most sense for drivers who regularly tackle deep mud or rock.
All Season tires compromise between summer and winter ability so one set can stay on the car all year. In moderate climates a good all season tire is a genuinely strong choice; in hard winters or hot summers a dedicated tire still does the job better.

A tire needs at least 3 owner reviews to appear here. Owner ratings reward different things to tests - comfort, wear and value show up over thousands of miles, not on a test track.
What drivers say about SUV and 4x4 All Season Mud Terrain Tires
The most recent owner reviews from this category, in their own words.
Despite that, two of the four tires developed severe cupping, vibration issues, and bald/chopped tread areas long before they should have worn out. The other two tires remained comparatively normal under the exact same driving and maintenance conditions.
I submitted extensive documentation including:
* Installation records
* Rotation and balancing history
* Alignment records
* Full tire photos
* Third-party inspection reports
A VIP Tire inspection report even noted that the tires appeared potentially faulty.
Cosmo/Tire Group International denied the warranty claim anyway, categorizing everything as “vehicle-related irregular wear.” During the process, the responses felt very scripted and focused on denying the claim rather than seriously evaluating the evidence provided. The only “courtesy” offered by the manufacturer was a general public discount code that anyone can find online.
To SimpleTire’s credit, their customer service team remained professional and responsive throughout the process, even though they ultimately had to follow the manufacturer’s decision.
Based on my experience, I will not purchase Cosmo tires or other Tire Group International (TGI) brands again.
But they were always diabolical in the wet, driving up a twisty mountain road resulted in languid oversteer at incredibly low speeds with very light throttle inputs. Outrageously fun but I was genuinely concerned to let anyone drive the car because it was so unsafe.
Then we went on a trip up Cape York with two other vehicles, one fitted with BFG KO2s and one with Maxxis RAZR AT811s. The Maxxis got up a muddy creek (Gunshot Creek) exit the BFG could not, lot’s of confounding factors but I felt the Maxxis AT outperformed the BFG MT in the mud. The KO2 was a very good tire also, but not as capable in the mud as either the MT or the Maxxis. I now run Maxxis RAZR ATs and they are brilliant, safe in the wet, quiet, comfortable, and they throw mud like no one’s business.
These are not appropriate tires for any use case other than 100% off-road.
275 65 18 fitted to my Nissan Navara NP300.
I would definitely buy again spend most of my time on B roads road noise hardly noticeable.
good traction in gravel, mud, grass, snow - you name it :D
only drawback is that they are quite noisy and the ice grip is not that good
