I am very satisfied with these tires on the snow, they have an impressive grip compared to others I have handled. On dry asphalt they didn't offer me much comfort, they are a bit noisier, but they do their job, and on wet asphalt they gave me enough confidence. On asphalt with ice or poles they don't have very good grip, you have to do some maneuvers to recover. In conclusion, ratio/quality/price, I can recommend them.

PROs: Pretty quiet Safe balance in the dry Pretty good in the snow Decent braking in all conditions CONs: Very, very spongy feeling in the steering wheel Wheelspin in the rain (less so when slightly wet but not currently raining) Road feedback exists, but is often misleading due to the sponginess I would say this is a safe tire for the average driver, even for a few spirited trips. Except for the very apparent sponginess, I would say this is a very good value tire.

While the dry grip left a little bit to desire, it is a wonderful and well-rounded tire in snow and icey conditions. The feeling you get in slippy conditions was a very linear feeling that give you the confidence that you know exactly when you will step over the line. When you finally step over the line, you hav a very easy time regaining grip again due to the linear grip.

Matador MP93 Nordicca rated 91% while driving a Mazda 3 Series

I don't know how will they last or keep their performance in coming years but initially they perform and feel like a true premium winter tire. Most mid grade or budget winters does well in snow and ice conditions (MP93 is no exception, especially amazing in terms of lateral snow grip) but this one excels in wet and dry conditions as well. Steering feel and road feedback is surprisingly good for a thick sidewall snow tire, very strong cold try tarmac grip, they just grip and go. They also give confidence on wet, there is no unusual reaction even in sudden movements or braking. The sidewall of the tire is a little too stiff, which is probably why the steering is sharp and sensitive despite of the relatively large sidewall (205/60R16).. For the price, they are simply amazing, strongly recommended.

Needed urgently to buys some winter tires is this rare size, there was only 3-5 options, so choose the cheapest ones, and it was those tires. And I was very surprised, brand new they got much more grip on wet and dry then my summers Barum bravuris 3hm. Then come the winter, still no issues, very good handling and grip. A bit worse when outer temperature go over +7C, with my driving style it start to slide a bit in corners. It is my second winter season on them, definitely going to buy them again, for such money I got more then I expected and in fully satisfy my needs. Negative is maybe treadwear, new one got 7.7mm, now on almost end of second season aprox 5-6mm left.

Back again, year is 2023, the wear is not an issue, stil not at the winter wear mark, doing a good job in the winter months even without the snow, mostly dry tarmac during the winter and the Viking holds on. Fitted 4 more on my wife's Mondeo estate. Hope the Continental will improve them and keep them available, it is a tire I do not want to see replaced by some shittier quality new one. Bought them for the 2017 winter , rotated them only in the last 2 years, 100% they will be on next winter as well.

In general a great winter tire. Had these fitted to my Volvo S60 a couple of years ago with good results, I tried them again for our little Punto. They feel very stable and safe in the snow. I am a spirited drive and lite to push my car from time to time. With these Kristal Montero 3 that is not a problem. Stopping distance and acceleration in snow and slush is superb. In the damp danish weather they sometimes understeer a bit, but is think that is down to the natur of the little Fiat. I can higly recommend these winther Fuldas.

Had these tires couple times on two different cars. Yes these are pretty cheap tires, but they have a lot of tire runout from factory. Which means no matter how straight or balanced your wheels are, you're gonna feel vibration from them.
