What is a Electric Vehicle tire?
Electric Vehicle tires are tuned for the demands of EVs: higher vehicle weight, instant torque, and the need for low rolling resistance and low noise. Many conventional tires also work well on EVs, but these are designed around them.
Winter tires use soft, high-silica compounds and heavy siping that keep working below roughly 7C, on snow and on ice. The category spans three different products - Central European, Nordic friction and studded tires - built for different winters.
