Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tire tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Cheap tire with stable handling on dry roads and low noise.
Significantly limited driving characteristics on snow and wet slopes, dangerously extended snow and wet braking distances, poor steering response, low aquaplaning reserves.
Not Recommended.

Given 89% while driving a Dacia Duster 4x4 (235/60 R16) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
Not so bad like all these reviews at this tire. It's not premium tires but with some experience and carefull, You can go wherever You want without problem. I have on my car two tires new DOT xx23 and other two DOT xx17, I noticed the old ones is harder and have less grip than other two new but it's normal, all tires lose grip when get old.
Buy without worry, is good enough !

Given 49% while driving a BMW 318D (205/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 10,000 average miles
Bought these tires as brand new for winter usage. I live in Estonia so winters are quite cold and snowy here. I would not recommend these tires as real winter tires. They are usable on town roads which are maintained well, but as soon as you get out of town and have to drive on very snowy/icy roads, then they are only a little bit better than summer tires. Plus side is that the road noise is quite good and below average (almost as good as summer tires). If you have softer winters with few cm-s of snow sometimes, then this is good choice and suits for all year tire. But if you're looking for decent winter tire, then avoid these.

Given 42% while driving a Honda Civic Type S 2.2 i CDTi (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 200 spirited miles
Astonishingly bad in wet conditions. Even on just a wet road after the rain these were slipping around. A large roundabout where I used to go round at 48mph just limited by the side-g force comfort, these tires slipped out at 44mph. Was concerned about them so I went out again on my own to see if it was a one-off and every corner taken at a little speed (on the wet road) led to the tires slipping out significantly. My wife has driven them on a rainy motorway at her more sedate speeds and was having to cope with the rear end sliding around a lot (negative husband points for me!)

Great for practicing your oversteering control! But once you're done go straight to a garage for proper tires!

Very dangerous in the wet.

Given 34% while driving a Citroën xsara picasso (195/55 R15 H) on mostly town for 0 average miles
You get what you pay for with these tires. Cheap and will do a job around the town but should not be driven hard unless you like wheel spin and drifting a little.I got a set of these tires for a very good price but I will pay more for a decent set next time. You live and learn.
