These are the best summer tires I’ve ever had. The grip in both dry and wet conditions is exceptional and they give a great road feedback, while not being overly sensitive to smaller steering inputs that could unsettle the car while going at higher speeds. Lastly, I’ll add that the comfort and road noise is very good for this type of tire.

Der Goodyear ist ein richtig toller Reifen, der leise und komfortabel zu fahren ist. Egal ob bei Trockenheit oder bei Nässe - der Asymmetric 6 zeigt in allen Lagen seine Souveränität.
Ganz besonders gefällt mir das Profil. Schöne Lauffläche und sieht toll auf der Felge aus. Ich fahre diese Kombi auf der Hinterachse.

Decent tire in dry normal conditions. I had these on my 05 Subaru Impreza wrx, initially were grand in the summer, then any wet weather they are lethal! Couldn’t wait to get rid of them. I have them on a bmw 320d f31 now and the same problem, horrendous in the wet, back end will step out on roundabouts with normal driving and cornering. Cant wait to get back to PS5’s of Eagle F1 6’s the difference is night and day.
When I pulled away after having two fitted on the rear of a 320d I immediately got some wheelspin in the dry, I had put it down to the release agent.
100+ miles later the car is unstable and today I drove it in the wet for the first time and it's actually quite scary. The traction light is constantly flashing, the car slides at normal speeds and if you gently accelerate in 3rd in a straight line then the traction kicks in when it's wet.
By far the worse tires I've ever had.
After one a a half years and 8000 miles and i changed them. I previously used Continental and lasted over 3 years and 30000 miles.
They are horrible, cheap tires. The first 10,000 km were okay—nothing special, nothing good, but nothing terrible either. After that, they became absolutely horrible. They are also extremely slippery in the wet, the dry handling is bad, and I don't even have to mention the snow. Before these, I drove Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires worn down to around 2–2.5 mm, and I can honestly say that the Michelin tires at 2 mm were far, far better than brand-new Riken all-season tires, both on dry and wet roads, especially when it comes to handling.
Size: 225/40 R19 (Front) / 255/35 R19 (Rear) - Staggered set-up.
Usage: Daily driving on rough, potholed Cornish A-roads (~15,500 miles covered)
Grip & Safety (5/5): Absolutely brilliant year-round. Never had a single dicey moment in the wet or dry, even through standing water on coastal roads and greasy tarmac.
Comfort & Noise (4/5): Moving away from run-flats made a huge difference over potholes. They take the harsh edge off bad road surfaces, and cabin noise is perfectly fine.
Handling (3/5): The only real weak spot. While fine for cruising, they feel a bit uninspiring on twisty stretches. Above 45 mph in tighter bends, the softer sidewalls make the car feel a bit unsettled mid-corner.
Bottom Line: A rock-solid, super safe daily tire for terrible road surfaces, but lacks that razor-sharp feel if you like pushing it through the turns.

My daily drive is a BMW G21 320D M Sport.
I fitted these on my 320d (F31) in december last year, they performed surprisingly well in the harsh winterconditions we had. The tires also performed well on dry roads and higer Autobahn speeds (160-200kmh). The road feedback is good for a allseason tire, im am happier than with the Vredestein quadtrac pro plus which seemed squisher. I am interested on how they will perform on warmer days in the summer. No signs of wear could be noticed at this point.
I fitted these tires to my BMW 320d back in fall, they have been quit allright since. I am disapointed by the lack of road feedback and an squishy feeling, even after after adjusting the tire pressure to the maximum. They offer good grip in any situations, I never felt unsafe and the griplevels support sporty driving, but as I said, the issue is the unprecise steering feel and a "deadspot" in the middle which makes it worse. The tires would perform great on an less sporty vehicle than an BMW, I suppose. Maybe I am just used to the Goodyears I had on before.
I only have around 1,000 miles on these tires, but I was able to drive them in some heavy snow and ice conditions, so I can attest to their incredible performance in inclement weather. The ice grip is where I have been most impressed. The lateral traction I have felt in icy conditions make these feel incredibly capable and safe. I was able to drive on the freeway at a normal pace, while most of the other cars on the road slowed to a crawl. Snow grip has been very good too. Even when I put my F34 BMW into "Sport+" I have to try hard to get it sideways. These tires are also incredibly comfortable. On smooth roads they are very quiet, and on rougher pavement the noise is not loud or annoying. Very easy to drive tire, and I have not encountered any "tramlining". I noticed a small decrease in fuel efficiency compared to the Bridgestone Driveguard runflats that were on, but this could be due to other factors that come with winter driving. I will update this review after this winter season, but so far I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of the new VikingContact 8's
