I live in Alaska, have always had a 4x4 until 2021. I opted for a small suv / 2x2 . These tires were amazing . I felt safe . Was able to stop on ice and snow . We had a lot more snow in 2022 than I ever remember having in the 26 yrs living here. It handled weel and I never got stuck on a snow berm or in a less than ideal parking lot . Great Tire . Will always opt for this brand of tire .

Not expensive, good balanced tires. Drived on them enough to say - good tires, I recommend them to all who’s driving in Scandinavian winter conditions. You will feel safe with them in snowfall with hard wind and on icy roads. Wear is amazing, after 3 winter seasons there was no lost studs, rest was like 7,6 mm. Little but noisy - but it’s okay because studs.

Very good tire for extreme winter condition. I bought this set of tire October 2018, and not a lot of wear (like new) after almost 10 000km. We had a rough winter in Canada this year. Lot of snow and ice and never had problem on roads or highways. The grip on ice is excellent, always felt safe with this tire.

I little bit noisy on dry surface, but it's a studded tire so it's normal.

    I highly recommend this tire

Given 81% while driving a Hyundai elantra (195/65 R15) on mostly motorways for 30,000 easy going miles
Have put close to 45,000kms on these tires in harsh Alberta winters with lots of snow and ice roads. First year of use on them was excellent. As the tires aged I noticed a decline in ice performance often spinning out and I'm not an aggressive driver - but is a non-studded tire so i can't completely fault it for that. Also did get stuck a few times in deep snow (4-5" deep) when trying to accelerate from a stop - my vehicle is FWD so it's not entirely the tires fault. Loose powder snow on the paved motorways though has been excellent for the life of the tire and no complaints. Longevity of the tires has been excellent as from new at just over 13/32" of tread I'm now just at 11/32 with regular rotations every 5000kms so no complaints on tread life. The long tread life is maybe from a harder rubber compound used which may explain the drop in ice performance as they aged. All in all no complaints of my purchase but will be looking at studded tires come my next set.

Given 74% while driving a Honda Insight G1 (165/65 R14) on mostly town for 15,000 average miles
I have been using these Nordman 7's for 4 years as dedicated winter tires for my 2000 Honda Insight Hybrid. This is a very unusual car, and driving it year round presents some challenges due to the narrow rear track relative to the front. It is easy for ruts or bumps in packed snow and ice to nudge the rear end out more than in a car with similar front and rear track widths. The car is also very lightweight, has a super short wheelbase and has very small diameter wheels at 14 inches. All of this conspires to make finding a good extreme condition, or Nordic, winter tire difficult but critical for winter driving. I tried the Nokian Nordman 7 and have found that their performance is excellent in the conditions they were intended for, cold temperatures and deep or packed snow and ice. I have yet to get stuck even when the snow is deeper than my front air dam, or the roads are covered in ice. The loud roar of the studs just reminds me that I have grip and am safer, so I don't mind it much. Sadly, I do not see this size for sale any longer, good thing they seem not to wear much!
