Great tire, really sticks to the road when warm. A bit noisy when compared to michelin primacy but not a deal breaker. Interested to see how long they gonna last with this kind of grip..

I bought these to replace my 245/40/19 F1A3, the older tires were a step over sized in terms of aspect ratio compared to factory setting due to concern over comfort, and the older F1A3 were at 32,000 km when replaced due to a puncture. At that point these tires probably would still had around 5K left. The F1A5 I bought these time were correct and lower profile 245/35/19, I was initially concerned over ride quality but the F1A5, even at a lower profile (at 35 vs previous F1A3's 40), provided similar level of comfort but somewhat more feedback than the taller F1A3 I replaced. Dry grip and steering response seems to be better and sharper, not sure if they were the result of improvement in design or just being lower profile. Wet grip seems to be similar compared to F1A3. The overall grip, dry or wet, is more than good for my usage (I think any tire in these category do) as I do not drive aggressively. Somewhat surprisingly, I felt the older F1A3 seems to be a little quieter, in fact, the F1A3 was surprisingly quiet even at the tail end of its service life. The new F1A5 isn't noisy, but I was slightly disappointed but it isn't any quieter, maybe the difference in profile played a part, maybe not. Over all, I am happy with F1A5, especially for its ride comfort and noise level even at 35 profile, which was my major concern towards selecting a tire.
