Pace ALVENTI Pace

These tires were the ones fitted by the car dealership I bought the car second hand from. When brand new, the tires (run flat in my case) performed reasonably well, however having clocked only about 5-6000km on them I've noticed a substantial decline in grip capabilities particularly in the wet (yes I checked tire pressure). My car only has 136hp RWD but I can feel the rear wheels slip on a slight incline in the wet, particularly when I need to merge on a busy roundabout etc. They are also quite noisy on a motorway, again more so after they have worn down a bit. Good thing I didn't need to brake sharply for anything yet. Needless to say I'll be replacing them soon.

Same as some of the other comments. Fitted a pair on the back of my 335i as opposed to Run Flats and they were immediately unnerving at higher speeds (+75) on the motorway. The back snakes around. On damp or wet roads the back will step out on a roundabout if too much gas is applied. Considering another tire after only 1000 miles on these.

Have fitted these to my Jaguar XJL and the tires are fine for normal driving in both wet and dry conditions, I did initially think I'd made a mistake as the tires slid as I cornered at reasonable speeds but I checked the tire pressures and found that the tire fitter had put 55 psi in all of them, once I reduced the tire pressures to the recommended 33 psi the car felt fine.

These tires generally perform well in everyday driving under average conditions. For the prices, they are a reasonably good buy but knowing that they are a budget tire I haven't tried to push them and driven very conservatively in adverse conditions.

The issue I have is that one tire kept losing air. I would just pump it up and a few months later my car would give me the same warning light. Then the warning light would appear after about a month then about a fortnight later. I couldn't se anything wrong but fearing I had a puncture, I took it to get repaired. What the tire repair place showed me was that there were two bulges on the inner side of the tire. I thought to myself what would happen if this tire exploded at highway speed? Never will I buy cheap unknown tires (these tires came with the used car that I bought about 12 months ago).

I'm going back to the well know premium brands, looking at Michelin Pilot Sport 5 as a replacement. If you are considering these tires, ask yourself how much is your life worth?

My old Bridgestone Potenza Sports were on their way out after heroic service and some idiot actually recommended the Alventi and being clearly very gullible and slow I believed him. The Alventi are not terrible, but that does not mean they are any good, they are trundle around slowly in a straight line tires that did the job until the weather decided to try and drown us all. Then we had half an inch of snow and I was all over the place when my old Potenza would have had zero issues, but I suppose they are summer tires and you get what you pay for. For 99% of the time they are adequate, but give them a downpour or slight snow and your blood pressure is going to rocket.

I saved £800 by having these Pace Alventi tires fitted to my Kia EV6 GT 3 months ago and instantly noticed a difference. The Michelin PS4 EV tires would skip on full lock and feel awful, would understeer pulling into junctions and spin up and lurch the car all over the road on traffic light drag races. I've only driven in wet winter conditions on these so can't comment on dry conditions. So far I am very impressed with Pace, even putting down 575 hp they feel great with minimal tire slip and so far grip far better then the Michelins did. The only negative I've got is they have slightly more road noise, and that is only because they are not EV rated. They have the same speed and load ratings, better range and wet grip ratings just no foam inside to absorb the road noise. Lets see what they are like on dry summer days, but for winter I'll definitely buy again.

I bought two of these tires for the rear of my BMW at the start of this summer. I went from premium tires which were bridgestone to PACE AVENTI and this was a massive regret! As soon as I would hit 70 mph - 80mph on the dual carriageway it would feel as if my car was shaking and snaking about which was extremely scary! Each roundabout that i would go around, my car would throw the traction light on and it would feel as if I was going to go off the road! I would not recommend, especially on a high performance vehicle.

I got these tires on the last 10,000 miles and like really good value for money or a mixture of driving I have merc e320 wagon at these times do really well high speed low speed cornering really good all round tire

I bought these tires for my VW tiguan. After 14 months and about 10K miles the garage noticed extremely dangerous tears on the inner rear tires. The tires were immediatley replaced. Upon returning the tires to black circles, i was given a full refund. I would urge you to avoid these.

Jaguar XJ SuperSport 510BHP SWB 2010... Well; the Dunlop Tires are absolute rubbish and even with light acceleration all over the road. Bought these tires for front and back and put on my spare set of wheels. Had my original wheels reverbed so put my spare wheels on with these Pace Alventi tires and I'm not joking they are much better than the ridiculously expensive Dunlop tires jaguar recommends and at a fraction of the cost; everything seems better... Better grip & handling and quiter on road noise. I don't use the car often so i cannot judge the last ability as yet as not had then long enough to make an accurate assessment, but everything surpasses my expectation for what is referred to as a budget Tire. Definitely recommend these...

Have these on rear of focus mk1 and to be honest they are absolutely terrible,especially in hot weather,my rear end never feels settled or planted instead they snake down a straight road like I’ve never experienced before,will be changing them for part worn at end of month….clown car worthy

the pace alventi are absolutely terrible tires?no matter what pressure they have they always feel flat and very soft while driving at anything over 30 mph.in hot weather they are even worse if that is possible,the only time they have been barely capable is in the wet,but then they're shit.Only bought them because couldn't get Accelera phi r witch i have on the front..........

They seem very bouncy and unstable compared to the Michelin sports they replaced, bunny hopping sideways in corners.
They feel pretty dangerous to me, it's like the sidewall has too much flex in it.
I am going to up the tire pressures, see if it improves.
I would not buy them again.
They seem to be better in the wet no aquaplaning so far.
My car is off lease in 4 months, if I was keeping it I would be looking to get them checked and replaced.

At half the price of its nearest competitors, Michelin, Pirelli, Hancook etc, these tires are great value for money. The normal wear out of the premium brands is lucky to be 20,000, so tires were the biggest running costs, (other than fuel) I will be buying these again. Even if they last the same 20,000, im still in front, with money in my pocket.

I had a pair of these on my BMW 330d for a few months before selling the car. The felt unstable and I've never seen the traction light come on so much. Worse on grip in the dry than better tires in the wet. They made the car feel unstable at higher speeds 75+. Almost snaking on fast B roads, very unnerving. I checked the tire presses with a second gauge, but all as expected. Terrible.
