Great Sport Touring Tire, particularly on wet. Bought in 2019 and used every year since then as "winter tire" on my Lotus Elise.
I also tried it on track with my Elise for several sessions on different days, and it worked pretty good for a road tire. Great handling and feedback, but of course goes a bit on overheat after 8-9 laps. On the road they are very good: nice confort, low resistance, nice handling and excellent grip on wet conditions (breaking and cornering too). Excellent wear also. So this tire has been quite a positive surprise to me.
I also tried it on track with my Elise for several sessions on different days, and it worked pretty good for a road tire. Great handling and feedback, but of course goes a bit on overheat after 8-9 laps. Excellent tires for everyday driving and spirited runs as well. Great grip, good in the wet. Initially was noisy, turns out the pressure was too high after install, setting it to recommended pressure 2.3 bars solved the problem.

Update from previous post. Nexen have honoured their guarantee. The tires where cracking & still had good treads . Four brand new tires fitted under warranty . Have now gone on to fit Maxxis tires to another car as they have a lifetime warranty & wanted to try another manufacture. Both tires, Nexen & Maxxis are imported by the same company. Very pleaded with customer services & local garage. Autoplus Northampton first class service

Excellent grip/durability ratio. It's a shame the sidewalls are so soft, which causes skidding and imprecision in steering. I recommend inflating the tire well above the car manufacturer's recommended pressure (+0.6 bar) to alleviate this problem (but if you go overboard, you noticeably lose grip and the tire wears prematurely in the center). What good is grip if you can't exploit it because the car feels like a flannel? In wet conditions, since the brakes aren't as strong, this problem isn't as noticeable (common with many new tires, by the way).

I've owned this car for over a decade now, so I've had the opportunity to experience it on many sets of tires. It's not a daily driver and the car is used on weekends for spirited drives in the mountains, some long trips away and occasional track use.
I came across these after the owner of my local tire shop (who I know well) recommended them to me. I was a little skeptical at first, since I origninally wanted a set of Bridgestone’s, but he said these would do the same job for approx £200 less.
Straight away I was surprised by how different the car felt after the change. The steering felt more responsive, and the car felt more compliant over bumps. The handling is very predictable and compared to previous tires there's virtually no tire squeal, even if I really push. I've only driven with them a few times in the rain, but they feel perfectly fine and stable even in heavy downpours. I guess the big question for me is if I regret not buying the Bridgestone’s? And I'm happy to report that I don't. For my type of driving, they do everything I ask, and I've never found myself wishing I had more grip even on some spirited drives.
The negatives: Compared to the previous set of Yokohama’s I had on the car, there's not quite as much feel through the steering wheel. It's not a big problem for me, as my car has adjustable shocks, so a few more clicks of rebound and that feel comes back. But it's worth mentioning for those who are looking for a sportier tire. The only other negative I would mention is the looks. I feel a bit daft for saying that, as I've never really cared how my tires look on the car, but after coming from other brands, these look like economy tires by comparison. But this is hardly a big issue, just a small note. Overall, these tires are the best I've experienced on the car yet, which is high praise from me, so I would absolutely buy them again.

Great set of tires, got them for 100 per piece less than same sized continentals and they are exemplary in both dry and wet. They feel just at the right balance between comfort and sporty handling. Road noise is very low as well. Would definitely get them again or when prime5 is around . Great job hankook

Previous owner put these awful tires on the back of the car. I don’t drive fast, so really can’t comment on dry grip, although the odd tire squeal when setting off on a hill. Which I had put down to a light car with rear wheel drive (Mx5) but now think it was due to rock had rubber. Yesterday I got caught in torrential rain on the motorway. No problems in a straight line but on the twisty B roads they were lethal! Driving at about 30mph the back end would wiggle and we span across the road at one time fortunately missing everything.
The car has Hankook Ventus Prime 4 on the front which look like new so I am swapping out the rears for the same. The Klebers are lethal!

Solid and safe everyday tires.
They do everything well if you use them as they should be used and they have no weakness until you push them.
But they are not sport (uhp) tires. You can push them, they will survive, but outer shoulders will wear fast. As expected, softer sidewall and less precision than usual sport tire.
