Hi do these tires have weak sidewalls and robust enough to handle rough road conditions?

Generally, any tire with efficiency in mind is not as strong as a dedicated all-terrain product. As this is an American market tire, it should be sufficient to handle the average US road and maybe even a bit of last mile dirt track. However, I would not expect this to be the strongest product available to you in your size.

Eh, does the job. Good fuel efficiency; could be quieter. Grip is not something to boast about, but it does the job for me. Would probably buy again. I already brought them last month once again but might try something new next time. Good for hybrid commuters that does not do any spirited driving.

Higher fuel consumption and more road noise than my previous Michelin Primacy. The road noise was supposed to be lower according to the specifications than the Michelin tires, but that's not the case. I won't be buying these tires again.

Initial Impressions

Had four fitted, front and back to a 25 year old Nissan Micra. Front needed replacing after 23,000 miles, but the rears have done 45,000 and still have 5mm of tread ! I drive carefully, so 23,000 is a little disappointing, but 45,000 on the rear, with 5mm of tread left is exceptional. I originally bought them for fuel efficiency and the low noise level (lower than Hankook, Mitchelin etc.) and they have delivered on both.

After 3 years they are very hard and uncomfortable. A descent tire with good braking performance -a lot better than previous FALKEN SINCERA SN832. I would try a newer tire if found in reasonable price else I would buy them again

Simply superb tires they're perfect in every way other than being an absolute pain to fit on the tire machine. No matter how much tire lube we used the beads wouldn't pop unless you 85psi in them, which is getting up there!

On the road in comparison to my old Bridgestone ep150s that used to squeal and understeer very easily, turn in and mid corner feel was a bit numb too.

The es-32s are excellent, takes A LOT harder driving to get them to start squealing, road feel is fantastic they give you so much confidence. Honestly it's like driving a completely different and vastly superior vehicle.

On my second set of this tires, I like them. Nothing high performance, and if you want to go as fast as possible therebare probably better choices, but for normal use on a daily driver these are great.

First of all, I would like to say that I do my own kind of tuning and the goal is a comfortable ride.
I discovered these tires after trying out all-season tires that were so miserable on the highway that any tire should have been better. Since Christmas was still two months away and I had several highway trips planned, I quickly ordered four Yokohamas and mounted them on the steel rims. For about 30 years, I've been driving tires from reputable manufacturers, but I've never owned a Yokohama.
After 50 km, I knew I'd been driving on the wrong tires for 10 years on the highway. The straight-line stability and ride comfort are excellent. I still hold this opinion now, at the end of the first real summer season and about 15,000 kilometers in. In the meantime, the wheels were fine-tuned for minimal radial runout, and the last imbalance was eliminated with my own balancing machine and balancing powder. I've performed this procedure on many tires before. But with the Yokohamas, the whole process has produced the best result so far.

Love thee tires - very well suited to Fiat 500 Sport, in 195/50/15 (rather than the factory 185/55/15). Super quiet, great handling wet and dry. Wear rates seem to be fine but car doesnt do huge mileage . Replaced Pirelli P6 and far better tire - complete over 10k miles on front pair, no issues and only half worn which given a lot of town driving with junctions and roundabouts thats good in my book. Just put a matching pair on the rear axle so happy days

I’m using these tires on my Honda Jazz — admittedly a bit of an overkill for a compact hatchback, but I specifically wanted a wider tire than the stock 175s. I’ve been extremely pleased with the performance.

For everyday driving, the grip is excellent in both dry and wet conditions — surprisingly, it performs even better in the wet. It handles puddles effortlessly, and the car feels stable and planted on the road. Braking distances are also impressive.

The ride quality is very comfortable overall. If I had to be picky, the last 3,000 km have been slightly less smooth as the tread wore down, but that’s to be expected.

All things considered, this tire definitely punches above its weight. Given the car I drive and my driving style, I’d absolutely buy it again.

Recently got a set of 4 tires Blueearth ES Es32. Changed from Nankang NS25. I was quite content with the Nankangs which I have been using Sep 2022 clocking 44000 km. First thing caught my attention was how quiter the YOKOHAMA compared to the Nankang. Also, the ride felt a touch smoother. Impressed so far, but for a fairer comparison need to use them for at least a year. With Nankangs I never experienced punctures though the Bridgeston that preceeded Nankangs had quite a few incidents.
