Dreadful. Horrible grip in the dry, very little in the wet, noisy, uncomfortable. Traction control had to work overtime every time I would start from a standstill. I got rid of them with only a few thousand miles left because I couldn't stand them.
Eh, does the job. Good fuel efficiency; could be quieter. Grip is not something to boast about, but it does the job for me. Would probably buy again. I already brought them last month once again but might try something new next time. Good for hybrid commuters that does not do any spirited driving.
Really good tires, especially within the price range. Not the most fuel efficient (ES32 or Ecopia is more efficient), but the tradeoff is worth it.
It came as a factory fit on a new Mazda CX 5 bought in Sept 2017, almost 9 years ago. Has lasted almost 50000km. The car has done 75000km total but during winter, we use separate set of winter tires but the mileage is higher during summer so I guess 50000km with Yokohama would be correct. My son drove it the other day in heavy down pour at 140km per hour without loosing grip or aquaplanning with the tread depth of 1,7 mm. I was totally floored and terrified at the same time, sitting next to him. I personally would have never exceeded 100km per hour in heavy rain. The tire will now be changed to a new set of Toyo proxes comfort for the next summer. I am sticking to a Japanese brand. Dont trust these European over blown tire test results with the big four manufacturers of tires that never dare to do blind tests on their tire performance.
Replacing OEM ContiPremiumContact with ADVAN V61 E+ on my VOLVO XC90 in last winter. It was surprising me that they were noisier and slippery than the old tires, at the very beginning. After about 500 km, they became normal as they should be. Decent dry and wet grip, much quieter than before. The tire expert advised that is because there is oil protection for such new tires; it would affect their general performance in the first month of use. Although the handing is not hard, the sidewall is pretty strong to conquer the kerb. You will feel more confident when you pump up 37+ PSI on the highway.
