These tires are pretty amazing. I live in a place with equally wet and hot weather all year round. The price point for these premium brand tires is the first thing that caught my eye. Following good online reviews, I decided to try it out. Dry grip is great on my SUV. Managing corners at relatively higher speeds had no issues. The harder side walls made handling the car stable. Steering and handling is responsive and sharp. Braking wise the tires performed pretty well for the traffic I faced. In the wet weather, I encountered zero aquaplaning situations. The tires performed exactly as what it was rated as. Of course driving in the rain would be more cautious and slower usually, but for me, it was not too much of a difference between wet and dry. The tires felt pretty comfortable, however, I personally prefer stiffer suspensions and tires as my driving style is slightly more aggressive. These tires definitely felt better than the Alenzas I used which were extremely “bouncy”. Hopefully these tires are as durable as stated. If it’s true, I’ll definitely buy again. Road noise wise it was pretty unnoticeable for my car. I guess it’s also dependent on how soundproof one’s car is.
The other tire I was comparing it against with is the Giti P10. Might try that next.

Good tires but I assume the side wall to stiff and noisy is the minus point . The rest of it I’m happy with it .

I am giving this review after driving 6000km i have to say this tires are very good handling in both dry and wet conditions i also noticed that the car cabin noise decreased from my last tires which was already quiet the name continental ultra contact 6 overall my car comport increased on smother road and on pothole road it is better than the continental ultracontact on bumpy road so definitely will buy again

When I am look tires for my newly buy used Alphard Hybrid, I was attracted by the ad saying the AE61 is quiet and comfortable. However after trying for 2 months 9000 km. I found it's comfortability and qietness only realize on those newly build road surface. In Japan most road is good but it it not the case in the rest of the world. It is bumpy and noisy on those aged road surface. Grip and handling is ok. Tire wall is too stiff. I will look for another brand after 50k km.

Having tried many types of tires in my 30+ years of driving, I finally have an opportunity to try out the latest AE61 on my new car. After 22000 km, in wet, ponding and dry weather mainly in city driving. I found it to be very responsive, good performance in wet and dry braking and good stability. Tire wear is very even and about 55%. So tread-wear is very reasonable for a “performance” tire. Shoulder is rigid and provide stable cornering even in ponding conditions. It was also cheaper by about 30 USD than the branded tires I intended to buy. Certainly worth my $ so far. Need to see how will the tires performed when reaching 20% of tread left. It’s fuel efficient too although my car is a hybrid.

Handling is pretty good,even on wet conditions and not so smooth surface,the grip i would say is amazing the downside is when you go on unpaved road the tire is far from comfortable

This tire is not gives comfortable feels but road grip is good also one thing more is that feels too much noise in cabin. So I will not purchase again and not recommended these tires.
