What is a Premium Touring tire?

Premium Touring tires are the leading brands' everyday tires, and the default fitment for most modern cars. They balance wet safety, comfort, low noise, long life and fuel efficiency rather than chasing outright grip.

All Weather tires are all season tires with a winter bias: year-round tires that carry the 3PMSF severe snow marking and hold up in a proper winter, at some cost in warm weather sharpness.

These tires came with the car. The tires were pretty good when newer, but as they got older they started getting out of round and made the car bob up and down, this is reflected on the comfort score. I feel they were also more prone to hydroplaning. I had to retire them early because the tread delaminated so I could see the cords. Disappointed how fast they wore out during the summer. I did check alignment once a year. I will give them a little leniency because they were quite old by the time this happened. Primarily highway use. Tires were rotated twice yearly.

I installed these tires to replace my Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV and was surprised by how good they are. Extremely comfortable; while the Goodyears were a little quieter, the BFGoodrich are quite a bit more comfortable. Dry, wet, and snow grip is more than sufficient.

Excellent tires but they wear super quickly forcing me to try different tires due to them only lasting about 30k before they need changed. Alignment always done before replacement. Side walls are very soft too and have bubbled after barely hitting curbs. Been through 2.5 sets of these tires and will not be buying again. Wonderful in the winter though. No issues in the snow or ice. RAV4 was able to plow snow due to ground clearance with these tires when they were new.

an excellent all around tire, great in slush and snow, better on ice than other all weather tires I've driven on. Winter driving on these feels more like a winter tire than an all season, better than some winter tires I've driven with, gives a lot of confidence. Low noise and very comfortable. no changes so far as they have worn, used about 1/4 to 1/3 of the tread so far. Tire feed back through the steering is a bit mushy, but they are on a half ton truck so its more about the comfort than sportiness.

noise level ,reasonable low
compared to snow tire,s ,its a little glassy in the wet snow condition at first ride off ,later on the ride 10 minute,s+ more feeling is coming back, but stil
not as fine and grippe as compared to snow tire,s .(little less trust and sliding in to the "roundabout" wet snow corners on my Subaru Forester Sj )
in full snow they do fine ,as in the mud and summer conditions , at high speed 180 km/h they feel good .

The look is good ,the wear is low ,on the personal feeling the rubber is a little on the hard side of the spectrum the first 25+? kilometers in spring conditions after that the rubber feels more fine /softer.

note : not ridden the highway in full snow conditions.yet

These tires were on the vehicle when we bought it and were fairly new. We are dedicated Michelin and/or Nokian users for 20 years. I find these tires to be rough riding in comparison. They make me very uncomfortable driving on ice as the vehicle seems to be swaying and on the verge of losing control. For that reason alone I would not consider buying again.

Very universal tire with good value/price ratio. Tested in every conditions, and I have to say they are in the upper middle class of every aspect, which in my opinion is very good achievment for this segment. I used this tires on gravel surfaces too- they are solid, sidewalls are strong, sharp stones do not affect them.
If you don't have spare wheel in car, and You use gravel/light terrain roads it is sweet spot! In wet they are way better and predictable than Conti Eco Contact 6. [04.02.2026] Additional winter results: On snow tire is predictionable, but obviously not as good as winter tire- in my opinion it is like 2 year winter tire (seasoned in good conditions). Little bit weak braking in wet and compressed snow (not biting surface like snow tires)

Tires came as OEM fitted with the car. Not great not terrible. Lasted for a good time and deserves a good grade on how many kilometers they were able to hold on to.

Not a proper summer tire, but not also a proper winter tire. I live in the nordics and have proper winter. These tires would be great off season tires between proper winter and summer times IF i had the interest to change tires four times a year.

Used for 40000 km. Sudden braking and especially understeer during turns on dry ground felt unsafe. In the second winter season, grip on snowy and icy roads had decreased by almost 60%. This can be attributed to the rapid and excessive wear. Road noise had also increased in the second season. I definitely do not consider buying it again.
