I’ve just come back from a nearly 4000-mile Christmas trip across Europe and tried the CrossClimate 3 Sport for the first time on my Mercedes E-Class S213 Estate (275/35 R19 rear, 245/40 R19 front) and honestly, they blew me away. From heavy rain in France and Belgium to high-speed runs on the German Autobahn, across wet and dry roads, through blizzards and snowstorms in Poland and Austria, including black ice and deep snow the tires handled it all. They adapted instantly to changing road conditions, always providing strong, predictable grip and never feeling anywhere near their limit.
Previously I’d been on Michelin Primacy 3 MOE and then switched to Pilot Sport 4S, which I really like even on a heavy, not-particularly sporty estate car, so I expected some compromise - but no, not at all. The CC3 Sport seem to handle anything without compromise; a genuinely impressive product. Through faster bends they held on nicely and felt really controlled. Honestly, it felt more like driving on a premium summer UHP tire than an all-season. Wet and dry braking were great, and high-speed stability was spot on. In the snow they stayed safe and predictable, even in deeper snow and icy patches.They were also surprisingly quiet, with no noticeable difference compared to the previous sets. The only thing I’m not completely sure about yet is how they’ll wear over the summer, I should have a better idea by the end of the year.
Really, the Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport are simply outstanding and you won’t find better-looking sidewalls too :)
And just to be clear, I’m not being paid by Michelin or anyone else for this, it’s simply my honest opinion.

The dry grip is amazing, when they are warm from a stand still to full throttle it is very hard to lose traction. Wet grip is more then I can ask for. I can drive sporty in the rain and no loss of grip. I have almost driven 70.000km on the tires now. My previous tires were Pirelli P Zero Nero which came with the car and compared to the Michelin it is literally a night and day difference.

The P1 is a really nice steering tire, and if you get it in the right window, it's fast. But on my vehicle, it overheats very quickly. A good autocross tire, but not a good track day tire.

Not a good tire in the dry. Wett breaking ist really Bad. Not really feetback feels unstabel at high speeds even in the straight driving 265 km/h with this tire feels Like you lose the car every sec. Came with the BMW e64 645ci when i bougt IT. Even thow they are new i changed them after 600km. Also had them at the rear wheels of my e46 320d Automatic and the fact that you could Drift in 2end Gear in a dry roundabout with 255 tires and 136 HP and a Automatic that feels Like steeling 40 HP should say all.

Writing about the Kumho Ecsta Sport S PS72

I do extensive research before buying any tire and after three months of searching I have found the right tire for my car which is w-220 S Class 2005 model with 19-in wheels from the CL 600 model.
245 40 19 at the front ps72 Sport and 275 35 19 sport s ps72.
These tires are amazing but when they are cold they do juggle the car from left to right vertically the suspension is working extremely hard because these tires are design for Precision cornering and the side wall is extremely hard but this is what I wanted, the reason behind is I did try before the Michelin PS4 acoustic on the set of 20 inch by eight and a half original Mercedes and unfortunately Michelin PS4 acoustic for a price of £1200 were disappointment, I spent a lot of money on the tires and I said to myself never again I will spend so much money on some branded tires which actually do not live to the hype, now these PS72 have outsmarted all the big brands and when I bought my four tires from ATS Euromaster in UK I spent with fitting £125 pounds each so that's that's a huge difference between spending 300 pounds each for a Michelin PS4 but that was a while ago since then I changed the other wheels to 19 inch then I went for a budget option of banoze tires, they were super soft and very comfy very good in wet however because the 275 35 and the way my S-Class is sitting on the airmatic was causing bulges on the inner side of the tire by the rim and I really dont want to end my life too early because of the tire blowout decided to swap it for something that is more reliable in terms of the sidewall because these tires and this profile, this low they tend to crack and cause bulges and they can burst so all in all in comparing to continental Sport contact five Sport contact 6 which I had a pleasure to drive in compared to Uniroyal 3 which was amazing tire but very soft going really quickly but with a right turning of the tires you could still squeeze 40,000 miles out of them so out of all these tires these are the most precise tires I ever had.
I can only compare them to the tires I had before so starting from Goodyear eagle F1 AS2 then Michelin PS4 continental Sport contact 5 then continental Sport contact Three Some budget tires I had some tires oh of course we cannot forget Pirelli p zero.
So after all this mileage I have done over the years these tires are just beating them all in one go there so these tires are perfect in dry perfect in wet amazing in wet amazing heading back home yesterday there was a huge amount of rain starting going around roundabout or starting from a junction no ESP no traction control on after giving it some revs so absolutely amazing grip breaking same story it's super nice and super precise and size for the back 275 35 19 is in a sport s brand so the thing is the car is very jerky from left to right in vertical position when so like your head your whole body is moving with the car the suspension if it's airmatic and set up for comfort mode it's still the tires they dont want to give in, is just the tires are like stiff but when they are warm after a couple of miles it's it's a less of an issue it's still there but not as much but when it comes to a cornering when it comes to changing lanes acceleration breaking absolutely amazing tires amazing the only drawback I mentioned above is that they are so stiff that your whole body is shaking together with the car because the the tires don't want to give up they just don't want to hand over you know like they don't want to give up they are just keeping the form you know and doesn't matter, but luckily for me after a couple of thousands of miles I did inspect the tires there is a almost no visible wear the Tires at the moment and because the size of the different is different to the back then I I can only swap them side from left to right that's it so not sure if that's even necessary but then let's see how it goes amazing tires amazing amazing Tires at the Unbelievable price low price of low of a budget tire with the where the premium brands failed to be the desire so I would buy this tire again even if it means that they are not as comfy as the budget tires which were just too soft probably over time probably they will get more comfy I'm not sure I'm not sure if this is the case I am not so sure but so far I'm very happy with.
I scored in five in a comfort category because of the jerking of the car left and right and that the suspension must work extremely hard to compensate the road imperfections so much because the previous tires and Tires before the previous ones and the tiles before that where just soft and they were really good in like extending the comfort of the airmatic system these tires are just yes not that comfy they're okay but you you win some you lose some I prefer to lose a bit of comfort however they are extremely quiet extremely quiet you don't hear them at all you don't hear them at all it's just that stiffness that's the only issue if you're if you want the tires that have extremely stiff and strong sidewall you go for these you will.

These came stock on my BMW M3
I managed 28k km on them
When new, the tires were decent, after 15k km, the tires became noisy and grip became poor
After 28k km, there were cracks on the tires and require replacement
Very disappointing wear

Writing about the Nexen N Fera SU1

Fitted to my 520d MHT touring at 24,426 to replace the OEM which had failed an MOT. I have covered a further 30,000 and replaced with with Nexen. See below is a photo of the tire removed. Fitter said could have done more miles!. Ride and handling better than RFT and comfort too. Wear is very uniform and no punctures or bulges. I do check them weekly and keep the recommended pressure correct.

I recommend these tires as I've managed 15k miles that's down to 2mm as this is when I started to notice the wet grip disappearing. Dry grip doesn't change on wear nor cold weather in the UK. I drive some what spirited most of the time.I used these in light snow and a week old they were lovely for a high performance summer tire!
I did want to give the Goodyear F1 SS & Yokohama Advan AD09 ago but decided to stick with the Conti! As I could only list one size of tire that is the rear, Front is 245/40/19 - So its a BMW 530d it has a lot of torque! The Conti's did the job well! That is all year round for two years. Dry grip great, Wet grip great! No issues with Aqua planning! Best tire I've had so far! I'm still yet to try the PS4s tires!
IMO - your not going to find a better tire to use in the UK on a Bimmer!

Bought the car second hand from a non franchise dealer who fitted x4 non run flat tires as a requirement of the sale. I had not come across Nexen previously but after 25000 trouble free miles I have been pleased with their overall performance. When compared to the OEM tires fitted to my previous 520d I found the ride to be more comfortable and no loss of wet/dry grip or fuel economy. The rears are due for a change so I will look at Nexen brand again.

I changed from 20” to 19” wheels (because of frequent wheel cracks on the 20” run flat set up). The change has positively transformed the car, reducing brain crunching bangs and eliminating skittish behaviour when cornering on imperfect roads. I have had the opportunity to drive the 8S tires on a mixture of road conditions including dry, wet, snow, slush and ice; the tires inspire confidence across a wide variety of conditions. Driving in snow and slush, the tires are sure footed and you don’t see stability control called in to action, when driving appropriately. On clear roads you can drive as confidently as you would with summer tires. The only notable difference is greater road noise with the winter tires; not horrible but noticeable.
