Actually in shock, how good these tires are there incredibly impressive period let alone for the money. Handling is nothing short of excellent Road. Feedback is superb and they are incredibly comfortable. If you have an older car like me that is in great condition and you don’t want to spend a fortune on tires, I highly recommend them.

I have not had these tires for very long, but my impressions are generally positive. There were no problems with balancing. At speeds of 120-150 it behaves perfectly, no vibrations or anything like that. I did not hear any abnormal noise, at least at low speeds. The name of the tire really corresponds to it, the tires are very comfortable. The set cost me $200. For its price, I definitely recommend it!

These are without a doubt the worst tires I have ever driven on. They came brand new on a used VW UP! That I bought and unfortunately are incredibly poor.
Even in the dry they offer very little grip and often slip on inclines or sharp turns. In the wet it’s even worse, the car feels so unstable and doesn’t feel connected to the road at all. They have also worn very rapidly compared to the Michelin Primacy 4+ on my other car. I cannot recommend these tires ever or at all.

Have a pair for the rears on my Skyline R33 weekend car. Installed in Nov 2022 and noticed this month (March 2026) that it has gone down almost to wear bar. A lot of spirited driving in this car, across all seasons down under (spring, summer, autumn, winter). No issue in wet except for one time along tram line. handles great in dry and normal wet condition. Other than that, for the price, I'd say a good pair if you don't mind the wear rate.
When I say wear rate, I meant it wears really fast considering total kms raked on this pair is only 13000 km (or 8000 miles).
I have used different brands on this vehicle before and easily this brand/model has the fastest wear of them all for the mileage covered.

I've just bought a 2014 Mini Cooper with these tires. Was going to upgrade immediately to Michelin Primacy 4 but on inspection found them barely worn.
Have decided to keep them for the moment.
The Mini actually corners faster in the wet than any car I've owned in the dry except a Leon Cupra on Goodyear F1 Assymetrics that I love but aren't available for 15" wheels. I think though that this is in spite of the thres not because of them. What I don't like is that there is no feedback and the steering feels dead which takes away the Mini fun. I have no idea what the tires are doing until the car starts to run wide.
I also find that I am all the time making small corrections to drive in a straight line.
Will upgrade to the Michelins soon but must first replace some Autogrips on the front of my wife's Ford Ka with Falken ZE310. Absurd that my 50+ year old Triumph Herald with 145/13 Falken SN832 has more grip in the wet.

Car came from factory with Continental EcoContact 6Q, which were decent enough, but needed replacing at 14k on the front. The dealer I bought the car off fitted these Matadors, and I was honestly expecting them to be terrible. They really are quite good.

Only when really pushing on in the wet do they start to let go. They handle the cars 201hp no problem.

I would certainly consider buying them in the future if they weren't the price they are - for the same money you can get Falkens and only a tenner more for Goodyear.

Matador shares a lot of Continental knowledge, and really I can't tell the difference between them and the EcoContact 6Q. The Matador even have the Continental "wet grip" wear bars, same as the 6Q.

If you can get them cheap, then go for it.

Tires came standard on 2025 VW Virtus GT. Apollo tires are appalling in the wet. Dry grip is adequate, moderate road noise and excellent wear. Had an Aquaplaning incident and vowed to never use apollo tires again. Swapping out to Michelin PS5 in 225/45r17

I switched to the Kumho Majesty 9 Solus TA93 from the Pirelli Cinturato P7 AO, and I’m honestly really happy with them.

These tires from Kumho Tire are noticeably more comfortable and quieter on both city roads and the highway. The ride feels smoother overall, and I’ve also noticed slightly better fuel efficiency compared to my old set from Pirelli.

For anyone wondering, the TA93 is basically the Asian-market exclusive version of the TA91—same idea and positioning, just a regional variant.
For daily driving, this has been a really nice upgrade.

For it's price, this is probably the best tire I've had, alongside the nexen su4.
Dry grip is good, wet grip is superb. I've never lost the slightest bit of grip even in intense rain with massive puddles.

Moderately noise and bumpy.

I'm not a spirited driver but feedback and sportiness feels acceptable.

10k miles in still massive amount of tread.

100% worth a try. These tires are within 5% of performance from the last Michelin PS4 I've used

Use this on our smaller car which is used to short run around journeys. Noise isn't too bad, but grip in the dry is good, wet is okay, not the best but defiantly had worse!

The garage that fitted them is a Davanti dealer, we hit a pot hole yesterday which damaged the sidewall. Garage replaced under the warranty scheme and only cost of 25% of the tire cost due to the tread wear.

Good value for the money. I'm trying some Falken this time, but might go back to Goodride.
