Bridgestone Supercat

Bought our 2018 Commodore with a new set of Supercats. These are the worst tires I've ever used in the wet (that includes a used set of Triangle tires), the slightest touch of the accelerator spins the wheels. When cornering in the wet you can't touch the accelerator as this will send you sliding into oncoming traffic. Dry weather is fine. They seem to have long life. Can't wait to get rid of them.

Avoid Bridgestone Supercats. They don’t have any grip on wet surface. Feels like that have been made of plastic not rubber.

3rd set supercats. 70000 kms last set. Rear wheel drive 15 year old Rodeo ute. Both on and off Queensland atrocious roads. Recommended.

Ok for first 1000km then grip disappeared. Tires squealed on roundabouts and skated through corners on winding roads and that was in the dry. In the wet as previous reviewers have said is equivalent to driving on ice. We sold the car with the tires sround half life and 31000km approx on the tires. Wear was good handling was optional.

These have been the worst Tires I have ever had on any vehicle. after only 40000KM lumps began falling off revealing the wire mesh. Some damage was caused from curbs in parking, therefore very low speeds. I mostly drive highways and local suburban streets. These Tires have endured some large trips and I have never felt confident with them on the vehicle. In the wet they are dangerous - they have no grip, you slid around corners even at very low speeds roundabouts and signal light turns you can only pull away slowly or you are straight away slipping and sliding all over the road, they should not be allowed to sell a trye as poor quality as these. I had the Tires reviewed/ assessed by the original installers and was told they need to be replaced at 47000km these are the smallest Kilometers I have ever had from a set of Tires. They are not down to the wear indicator, but the rubber has gone "soft" were the words of the assessor and I was advised NOT to drive on dirt roads as more lumps were likely to come off. I purchased these on special at $190/ tire and had a care plan which I maintained for balancing and rotation. They have worn evenly.

Purchased ten years old.
Very durable tread. Low usage but tire tough and lasting. You discover care needed in wet and oily.
Possibly the cheapest but value street or highway tire.

I agree with other comments regarding these tires Dry road I would say is OK good almost; Wet road absolutely wild Almost zero grip
I have two pirellis on front two Supercat on the back
Round-abouts are worst On wet roads the back just slips and slides
Have had Michelin tires previously which were bad enough on wet/damp roads But these worse Then again they are half the price So, You get what you pay for

Shocking grip in the wet even driving slow. Dry grip better and acceptable for everyday driving. I bought a 2 year old kia carnival which was an ex hire vehicle which explains why it had cheap tires installed. I replaced them after a few months because i didnt feel safe with them even though i could of got a few more years out of them. I replaced them with some premium tires and its transformed the driving experience. Do not buy Bridgestone Supercats

Dry grip is good but wet isn’t good and atrocious When I drive around a round about that is on a hill, I have to drive really slow or else the car spins out and stability control helps to save it. They have lasted around 35,000-40,000 km. Don’t buy these please especially if you don’t have stability control and awd and traction control!

DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU WANT TO LIVE! These came with the seconds hand car when I bought it and these are outright dangerous if the roads are even slightly wet. These should not be legal I am replacing them with plenty of tread remaining because they are that much dangerous. These tires have changed my driving style due to how slippery they are when wet. It's like driving on ice. I almost drove off a cliff when the wheels locked up at less than 50km/h with very light braking on a rainy day. luckily I stopped braking and was able to control the car. And that was not the first time or the last time. I have seen lot of similar reviews about the poor wet grip of these tires. On dry roads the grip is OK. I haven't had these long enough to comment about the life time.

STAY AWAY: Car had these when I bought it - my first car, and while in the dry they were perfectly acceptable, the moment there was any moisture on the roads they fell to pieces. wet handling wasn't poor, it was outright dangerous. Starting from traffic lights, going around a roundabout, etc in the wet and they might as well be a traction control testing system as it would engage every time and I could feel the car wanting to slide. Ised them until they ran out, replaced with Michelin and the difference in how confident I am with the car in any condition is just night and day.

Feel like their is no grip, dont last than 20000 km but mine wore out in 10000

I have these Bridgestone Supercat A/T fitted to my Jeep Grand Cherokee Lerado. I travel about 20000 ks a year and have had no issues with this tire on a heavy 4x4. They have excellent grip in all conditions and a excellent road feel. I hope that this tire is available when time comes to replace them. I will definitely buy them again.

I purchased it first time.as in Pakistan its not available I import it from Dubai for my Mercedes W123 I found it the beat tire's ever,want more but hard to find in Pakistan, may be the company will think to open office in Pakistan I am sure they will get very positive response.as per my experience super cat tires are better then Mechelen tire

Rubbish. As others have said, unsafe. These should be illegal to sell in Australia. My wife's CX-3 was dangerous to drive in the wet. Ok on dry. I recently hired a Corolla that had the same tires and did the exact same thing in wet conditions. I almost crashed it as it started to drift off my lane. Thankfully no one was around. No buying ANY Bridgestone tire ever again.
