A quiet tire, very predictable/forgiving at the limit, especially in the rain, with a soft sidewall. These miles were covered with spirited driving on winding roads.

Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.
How long do tires last on the Toyota Yaris?
Across 44 end of life reviews from Toyota Yaris drivers, a typical set of tires was worn out after 20,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 15,000 miles and 28,000 miles.
Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.
Every tire reviewed on the Toyota Yaris
The complete record, including discontinued tires and tires with too few reviews to rank, ordered by the amount of evidence. A further 99 tires have a single review each; they count toward the totals but are not listed.

What Toyota Yaris drivers say
The most recent owner reviews from this car, in their own words.
Great tire. Like a glue in dry, decent to good in the rain. Definetely buy it again.
Must admit was not impressed with the Michelins.
They are decent in the dry but sub-par in the wet. Not bad, just very mediocre; This would be acceptable for a mid-range tire but I expected better from a premium brand tire.
They've also worn out faster than I'd hoped, but this is mainly because they start off with a lower tread depth than other tires.
Michelin claim they engineer their tires to perform the same right down to the legal limit, but nobody sane runs their tires down to the legal limit; I always run my tires down to about 3mm before searching for new tires, just to give me time to find a good deal, and the Michelins lower starting tread depth just gives them a shorter life than tires with a deeper tread.
Rears still at 5mm but fronts are done. The Goodyears I replaced them with have performed much better so far in the wet and their higher starting tread depth will automatically give them an lifetime advantage.
Wet roads and dry roads. Not much comfortable but not so bad. Looks very resistant to poorly maintained roads. Behaves better than the Kinergy in rainy days. Treadwear 480 is very good.
In hot weather, screeching is very noticable even at moderate turns. ABS is noticabely more often triggered during normal traffic light stops, compared to the winter Hankook set. I think even some premium winter tires screech less when driven in hot summer weather. They also seem loud at highway speed, but I don't have a reference summer tire to compare.
Otherwise, they have a solid and "plasticky" feel to them, which gives you confidence over poor quality and unpaved roads. Gives you impression that you are driving on bigger tires. The wear seems very decent, too.
Overall, I'm not very satisfied for a tire at this (low-medium) price renge.
Using them on a 1.3 Toyota Yaris , in mixed conditions on highway and mountain roads.
The grip is good in dry and wet, even heavy rain. In confidence with them.
Comfort is good too , and noise level is normal.
They are at end of life after 4 years and 45.000 miles. Never experienced any puncture.
Even worn, they still had very good grip on dry road, but lighly slippery on wet roads. They offer solid performance for the price, so I'm replacing them by the same.
My original tires (OEM tires) which come with the car are Yokohama BluEarth XT AE61 in 215/55/18.
Anyway, my car is a Toyota Yaris Cross (DNGA version).
Got a pretty good deal on a set of Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 in 225/45/18, $400 for a set.
The ride feels much firmer, the Kumho provides superior comfort and everything compared to the AE61 that was equipped with the car, the difference is night and day.
I feel confidence doing a sharp corner, bend at 140km/hr with this set. The braking distance is much shorter than the stock tires in both wet and dry conditions.
I would rate them 9/10, as I haven't tried other premium alternatives such as Primacy 5, Pilot Sport 5, PZ5 or the Asymmetric 6 yet.
It's just a very stark contrast as, on normal tarmac in wet or dry, it's normally much better mannered. Aside from that particular anomaly the tires are still performing very well. I've since been driving in a mix of dry and extreme wet including some roads with deep surface water and flooding up to the wheel rim and they've continued to display great aquaplaning resistance. That said I can see why people have given it a lessor rating in the dry as the grip doesn't seems to improve much as it gets drier, but for me that consistency has stopped me from getting too overconfident in the dry and letting that carry over into the wet, which was an issue I had with the Michelins I previously had!
Look forward to seeing how it performs in the dry, but if it's anything to this level these will be good tires to live with! To be fair these have a full 8mm of tread-depth while the Michelins were down to 2-3mm, but even when new the Primacy4s were never this good in the wet!
