BMW 218d Active Tourer Tire Review Highlights
Fitted to my BMW 335D. The tires make a fantastic choice for a sporty saloon. Incisive steering, predictable and responsive handling allied with good wet weather behaviour.
Very competitively priced and good wear, given the use and power of the car.
I expect to get circa 17000 miles from the set on this car.

Only have them for a few days, but initial impressions are great.
Grip and handling are very good, very quiet, and soft/smooth over road cracks. Recommended.

Was hesitant to buy the LingLongs at first, seeing how there's not many reviews online.
I went for it thinking if they didnt work out i would just throw them away and buy other ones,
and if they did then I'd have found something that will keep saving me a lot of money in the future.
To my surprise the LingLong sport master winter has been fantastic for me.
This 2025/2026 winter started out very mild with temperatures around 15C, but then gone down to temperatures -15C with lots and lots of snow and ice.
The tire performed spectacularly in the dry and great in the wet and in very deep snow.
Black Ice is a problem for any tire and there's no tire in the world that can save you when you hit such a patch of ice.
So by driving like a normal person on icy snowy roads I never had any problem.
The previous tires I had on were Michelin All seasons and granted, they were 4 years old, the linglongs outperformed them in the wet and in the snow.
Strongly suggest saving money and trying these out.

Had the Falken Azenis FK510 run flats come already installed when I bought my BMW 420i. They likely had 6-7mm tread, and I have had them replaced now as 3mm tread remaining and 13,000 miles done. At this low tread, they were slipping/sliding quite abit now especially doing 70mph on motorway so safest thing to do was get them replaced and I've gone for another brand of tires. The Falkens were good tires, and never gave any issues. Never experienced a flat tire or puncture even when going quite hard over potholes or rough road surfaces. I'm not a spirited driver but have gone up to 80mph and felt confident in these tires. Have driven in the cold and warm temperatures over the last few years, and these tires felt reassuring without any worry of aqua planning or spinning out of control. Overall, definitely a good tire in my experience.

These tires came on my BMW M440d and are run flat tires. They are also * marked tires so approved by BMW. I initially thought I would need to change them as I’m not a fan of how hard run flats are. These however do not give a harsh ride and feel much more comfortable than the Bridgestone Potenza run flats I had on my BMW G22 430d. There is no skipping about on corners when you hit imperfections and the wet and dry grip is excellent. Overall I would definitely consider buying these again for my summer tires. The wear seems ok, I have done approx 6000 miles since getting the car as a used purchase, with what looked like almost new tires on it. I do like to use the cars full performance and have had no issues with grip, but I keep traction on full as I know 700nm of torque would throw me off the road if I wasn’t careful.

I am reviewing this tire without a control if you will, as it is also on my first AWD vehicle. I can't compare many aspects accurately vs other tires, but the Turanza lasted 48k miles on the vehicle, and continued to get me around in winter conditions with absolutely minimal tread before replacement.

...about 6 months later and I must add to my first review that I am sure that my Pirellis have saved my life on a couple of occasions, once because of the ability of these tires to stop the car in time and another time because these tires do not know what a skid is.
It is truly incredible how safe it is to turn the car as you please with these tires.
I think it is rare that a company comes out with a product that exceeds even its own company promises because even the company's own advertisements could not adequately appreciate its own work.
Thank God for Tire Reviews that convinced me to buy these tires.

40000 kms done in 2 years, wear is regular, mechanic told me there's space to do 10000kms more.
Tires work great on both dry/wet conditions. Handling is always very good. Noise is acceptable. Pricey but would definitely buy again, and I will.

I installed the same tire model and size on both my BMW X3 and a NIO-produced electric vehicle. On dry epoxy flooring and concrete surfaces, these tires frequently experience tire skipping/slipping during foggy conditions or when reversing. I wouldn't have chosen these tires either - I deeply regret purchasing two sets for both my vehicles. They require significantly lower tire pressure to maintain adequate grip, and perform worse than the outdated Eagle F1 SUV tires that came standard on my X3. However, they are exceptionally energy-efficient - my onvo L60 achieves the same energy consumption as a Model Y.

I fitted 4 of these on M140i 2 years ago. These are amazing all round tires. Much beterr grip then the Pilot Super Sports * the car came with. However this tires lacks some steering feel, its steers very light, coming from worn super sports it almost felt my tires where still in the air, when driving away after fitting. The limit in dry of the tires is very far, its almost impossible to reach on public roads. In the wet is feels like you are driving on rails. The are very comfortable, they smooth out ridges and other road imperfections. The traction was great untill the last drive, I got 25k km of out of the tires. The sidewall looks nice, but the tires look a bit streched on the rim and bit too much for my liking. I can highly recommend these. However for the M140i the Pilot Sport 4S became availble so I went for these now.

I've been driving my BMW with Pirelli Cinturato C3 tires only for a week now, but what I noticed right away is that I can now drive my car as if it were a toy I'm holding in my hand and I can turn it quickly and safely in any direction I want. All I have to do now is turn the wheel in the direction and degree I want without worrying at all if the car will skid or lose control, that's how safe these tires are. The tires are not noisy and maybe they can be even quieter over time, I don't know if there are other tires that could be even quieter...comfort?! The tires give the feeling as if the car is moving on a single large, very balanced tire and not on four of them, and I mean that in the most positive sense possible. At higher speeds, the tires do not seem to be glued to the asphalt nor do they prevent the car from moving promptly at the desired speed, nor will you experience the tire as the main factor that dictates the dynamics at high speed, on a straight road they become one with the car, for the moment, but when you need to maneuver the car quickly or brake, in the smallest to the largest maneuvers, then the tires come alive and oh boy, so alive, to remind you that they are there for you to keep you safe and in control. Of course I can't know how long they can be there for you but for as long as they will be, you and your car are in safe hands. I am really impressed how good these tires are.
