Good tires for the price. Noise level acceptable. Budget tires. As good as the oem tires.

Writing about the Bridgestone Turanza T005A given 74% (215-45-18)
Tires came stock with the car. Thinking of changing to another brand but in the end I thought I might just give it a try. First 1000km was unimpressive (perhaps the tires havent break in yet), the tires were slippery on dry and wet roads. The grip was horrible, cornering feels unsafe (genuinely thinking to swap these off after my vacation). After 1000km, the tires' grip starting to come online on both dry and wet roads, yet still not as impressive as the Hankook VP4 I've used on another car. The tires were bouncy through corners, it can take fast corners but have to be cautious with the entering speed. The tire performed moderately (score of 7/10) in the wet with minimal aquaplaning. As a touring tire, it is very quiet and comfortable. If you enjoy relaxing long distance road trip with music or chit chatting with family/friends in the car, this tire performed extremely well and it absorbs vibration of the rough roads very well too. The wear is okay at 20k km mileage (acceptable but not impressive). In my honest opinion: I would recommend this tire for those who enjoys a relaxing drive. If you love spirited driving or does partial spirited driving (sometimes), this is not the tire for you.

Writing about the Yokohama Advan dB V552 given 77% (225-45-18)
The Advan dB came as the factory tire on my Mazda3 BP. Mazda’s engineers have been pretty clear about their approach with the BP: they wanted stiffer bushings paired with a more deflecting sidewall compared to the last-generation Mazda3, so the suspension stays controlled while the tire sidewall does the work of damping out bumps.

As a touring tire, it’s just about OK dynamically—soft sidewalls and calm responses that suited the chassis as intended. Push on a bit and the Mazda3 shows some entry and mid-corner understeer, and the tire wallows a bit like you’d expect from a touring tire, but it’s progressive, predictable, and still easy to read at the limit. Outright grip is fine for what it is.

The Advan db is very comfortable tires. It’s quite absorbent over very bumpy road in my city and fits Mazda’s engineering approach well—keeps the ride settled and quiet. In the wet, it’s decent and safe, but feels inferior next to more sporty tires like the Michelin PS5 I had on other cars.

For daily commuting, it does the job and complements the car’s sporty yet refined for its class well enough. But I wanted a bit more sportiness from my tire so the move to a soft-sidewall performance tire like the Michelin PS5 or Continental MC7 is next on the list.

Where the Advan db live up to the standard is comfort. It’s quite absorbent over terrible road surfaces in my city and fits Mazda’s engineering approach—keeps the ride settled and quiet. In the wet, it’s decent and safe, but feels average next to newer, more sporty tires like the Michelin PS5 I had on other cars.

Crap tires especially in the wet. These are the stock tires on my Mazda 3 and I have had several occasions with the front tires spinning when taking off (my car isn’t even that powerful). Dry handling is okay but wet handling is horrible. Low rolling resistance but very noisy. Will not buy again.

Driving on mostly town for 500 spirited miles
At first I need to say, I bought them as brand new for price 65€ per tire, so it's stands as value price tire. And that is their problem, it's so cheap, why? This tires behave better in compare to CSC5, so I dont understand why they're so cheap.

This tire is much more quiet (while label say 72dB), much more comfy on harsh roads (in here in Czechia), petrol consumption is lover.

Now question about handling. It's new tire, so it takes time to sit, but first impressions are great. Grip is comparable to CSC5 and other premium tires. Gives not much response as my previous tire Potenza RE002 that I had for few hundreds kms. But still, handling is amazing. On curved roads, in city streets and roundabouts they're really great and fun to drive. I'm much more confident and can cut same corners and roundabouts in higher speeds than with previous tires. And quietly without squeak.
This summer isnt much rainy, so I have not much reference for wet conditions, but for that minimum that I drove in wet, it's ok. Grips firmly, turns easily and ride without wheel spin or warning light on dashboard.
I also tried higher speeds in motorway, it's calm and quiet, holding straight line easily and without vibrations (from tires).

Thats my first impressions. Even it's low cost tire, it's really great and premium tire brand beater.

Those tires are a great choice for a city run. As for me, they are a little bit noisy at 120+ km/h, but still they are ok for country roads.
Also, they are really soft.
The price/quality relation is brilliant!

Driving on a combination of roads for 40000 spirited miles
I have done 40,000 km and I think I can do another 10,000. In the dry they are fine, in the wet they are a disaster.
On the highway they are quiet and comfortable.

Purchased a car with these fitted and it's downright unsafe. Horrible wet grip, loses traction just going around roundabouts. Dry driving is okay as long as your car has little to no power and would struggle to spin its wheels on take off. Would not recommend anyone buy these tires, even as a last resort.

Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 spirited miles
Coming off Michelin Pilot Sports, I didn’t want to dish out for a brand new set since I’m looking to replace my Car in the next year or two. Looking around for an economical alternative, I had to rely on reviews and decided to give these Z4’s a try. It was a gamble based on the cost, but it turned out to be a pretty good choice.

I’m a spirited driver, I like faster and really enjoy taking corners with speed and stability. These tires do a good job, they’re obviously not Michelins for sure but actually not that far off either. It’s only been a couple of months but I’m really finding confidence with them under my driving style in both wet and dry grip!. The handling is great, and they’re fairly quiet, and comfortable. I can’t really comment on winter type conditions since I’ll only use them in spring and summer, and the same goes for tread life since I’ve only had them for a couple of months.

For the price point, I’m fairly impressed. They’ll do for now!
