I have no confidence in these tires. In the wet they are simply dangerous owing to the limited lack of grip and feedback.

I had these Pirelli P 3000 Energy originally fitted on my Peugeot 206 1.4 75hp
I used these tires with a prevalent sporty driving style and after 30.000 kms the tread was still in a very good shape.
the tire is not recommended for a sporty driving style at least on the Peugeot 206 since the car is very "dodgy".
a more relaxed driving style is recommended
the wear is very good and after 30.000 kms the tread was looking almost new.
the comfort is good and the grip in dry surfaces is sufficient.

Discontinued so now thin on the ground, I purchased these tires as new old stock. As with most of the premium manufacturers Pirelli have stopped producing smaller sizes. My preference would have been Michelin as they seem to have achieved a much more surefooted tire for the wet. When pushed even a little in the wet the Pirelli will oversteer. Likewise, it will struggle to maintain traction from rest in all but the most gentle acceleration in the wet. The E rating for grip in the wet is justified.

In controlled driving, and taking account of the tire's limitations in the wet, it's predictable and offers sufficient feedback through the steering. My biggest concern would be attempting to stop quickly or maintain control in an emergency situation. I think this tire will soon find its way onto the rear of my car.

Positively dangerous in the wet. Front end wash out, wheel spinning and aqua-planing were a common occurrence.

I don't know if I was unlucky or not but my Pirelli's went down after just 18000 miles after just 2 years. They were cooked, cracked all over the place.

Excellent tire dry and very good grip in the wet. long life

Great set of tires. Operate much better than the Bridgestones I had on the car prior to buying the Pirellis. They are also great value for money, much cheaper than other leading brands.
Tire noise is less than the Bridgestones and the car has more grip in the dry. Wet weather driving is similar to Bridgestone.
I dry mostly on freeways/long trips many times on rough and hot roads. I've had these tires for 20,000 kms and they have no sign of wear whatsoever.
The previous Bridgestones already showed major signs of uneven tread wear at 5,000 kms.
If all Pirelli tryes are as good as these then I'm sold on Pirelli for life.

Have had two sets of these on a Mini Cooper as they were the factory tire supplied with the car. I've found them fine on dry roads but awful on the wet. Take off on a wet road results in loss of traction unless I use a very slow take off, I don't trust them if I need to move oout of a junction into a small gap of traffic. I will not be getting these again.

Replacing the Pirelli Cinturato P3000 after 46,000 miles. The warranty is for 99,000 miles. Mostly city driving with a few long road trips. The tires didn't even make it half way through the warranty.

tire is very good on wet roads... never had an issue on any wet surface but it seems this tire compound is too hard as it lacked good grip on dry surfaces and was not as impressive as it is on the wet

very comfortable tires. we have a lot of potholed roads here and they fared very well.. good feedback from the road when its dry.. however wet grip is left much to be desired especially in low speeds...

When these tires are new, they perform quite well. However they wear out too fast. When I purchased these they had a 90k mileage warrenty. Today I had to replace them after only 46k miles! They had 4/32 tread left and of course weren't warrentable. However they were a safety issue and they wouldn't grip in wet conditions. Going into winter I was scared to keep them on our minivan. Stay away from them tires.

They often loose grip at sharp and speedy cornering, even in dry and hot conditions. Didn't notice any difference on dry or wet grip. After 10000 miles the half of tread depth is gone... so I presume they won't last more then 20-25000 miles. At high speed and on concrete they are very noisy.

I was doing a seventy mile a day commute and the goodyears i prefered wore down quickly in summer, so i had these p3000 fitted hoping they would last longer, Bad decision as the wet weather grip with these tires was very poor compared to the goodyear gt3. I found that i was trying to wear them out before the next winter by spinning them up from the lights which was easy due to lack of traction. At 30000 miles i had them taken off with 4 to 5mm of tread left as i could not go through another winter on these things. Goodyear hydragrips on and what a difference, able to brake normally in the rain without the car sliding across the carriageway.
On the mazda these tires lasted a long and scary time.

The tire under review is Pirelli P 3000 Energy - For the first couple of thousand kilometers the tires very extremely noisy on coarse road surfaces. However, it became better later. At 20000 kms no problems what so ever. Lots of stones and pebbles got stuck into the tire in the beginning, but currently that is no longer a complaint. These are high performance summer tires and were pretty good all autumn and early winter. However they are not recommended for winter use. Dry traction is good, stoppage times are predictable. Good wet traction, and any under steer was felt before things went out of hand. Thus, the progressiveness of the tires is good. After 20,000 kilometers of usage it still looks new. However it has to be noted that the tire pressures were routinely checked, the wheels balanced and aligned every 5,000 kilometers. It has so far been very satisfactory. These tires were produced in Turkey and some tire professionals on examining the tires have remarked that it is not on par with those produced elsewhere in Europe. All in all it is a good and reliable tire so far.
