Peugeot 206 1.4 75hp Tire Review Highlights
The dry grip was phenomenal I was driving average before this tires but after this tires was fitted i become a spirited driver and I was sure where the silver line as for the control of the tire was and if you pushed it little further or the road was bad even if slipped with the steering wheel you could control it. The wet grip was good nothing wrong to say about that. It was fitted August 2021 and replace the two of them that was in the front in the April 2025 because has lost some little rubber in some places and was near the end of its tread but again I was driving spirited (The tires had been rotating this years and was been replacing with winter tires for 4-5 months each year. The other two will be change maybe by the end of 2025 or until the spring 2025). Maybe would not get you so many kilometers that a Michelin or a Goodyear will but I don't care I prefer to be able to perform an elk test with higher speed if needed. I had Michelin Energy Saver but then I was driving average and had the OEM suspension at that time. Now has Monroe original.

For a car you use everyday its really good, i didnt owned them a lot of time because i bought the car lately and the tires are now dead, 1200miles with them on dry conditions and wet, never had some issues with them except they have kinda a bad aquaplanning reaction... Comfy tire, a bit noisy but its low budget tires... If you wanna drive your car a bit sportingly its not really good but normal since its not made to, but if you want a sport feedback, here it is: You just dont have any feedback of where you are on the grip, you need to wait for the car to lose all the grip to feel you passed the line, the rear does not hold up to sudden movements at all, and you feel that the sidewall is weak, but when you are in the tire limits, it respond well.
Anyway, good tire for everyday, recomend for a everyday car

I bought four of these tires for my 2003 Peugeot 206. The ADAC spoke positively about this tire and reviews on this site about this tire were positive too. Together with the low price of this tire I thought I couldn't go wrong.
And I wasn't wrong! These tires are good! Especially in the dry as the tests confirmed. Very responsive steering, and no under or over steer in sharp corners at all. Very impressed!
When it comes to the wet these tires are great too. Stable and more than enough grip when cornering sharp on wet roads.
Only downside is these tires slip easily when taking an extreme sharp corner from stand still on wet concrete parking lot floors. I hope you know what I mean.
Confort great too! But sometimes a little bit hard on ledges and ridges but nothing serious.
Noise a little bit too much in my opinion especially on rough tarmac but I need to be careful with this claim as it could also be my car lacking proper sound insulation ofc.
Wear? 2.000 km is too early to say something about it.
Will I buy these tires again? I think I will!! Even though these tires are Made in China, they perform very very well. Don't let that be a reason not to buy these guys. Cheers.

The tires are ideal for agressive driving and for rough asphalt. Very acurate in cornering. The wear is very small. I think I'm going to make 10000km with them, wich is very good (I usualy make less than 8000km with other also hard to wear tires). Driving in wet is another story it is similar to driving on the rims without tires. Don't recomend to people who want safety and to those who doesn't feel the grip in the steering wheel. Recomend to those who suffer from excessiv tire wear and want good grip in dry.

I had these Pirelli P 3000 Energy originally fitted on my Peugeot 206 1.4 75hp
I used these tires with a prevalent sporty driving style and after 30.000 kms the tread was still in a very good shape.
the tire is not recommended for a sporty driving style at least on the Peugeot 206 since the car is very "dodgy".
a more relaxed driving style is recommended
the wear is very good and after 30.000 kms the tread was looking almost new.
the comfort is good and the grip in dry surfaces is sufficient.

This tire is OK when dry; but in my opinion, they are appalling when the roads are wet. Appear to wear our relatively quickly. Therefore I will never be tempted to buy this tire again.

It is not resistant to shocks. Very weak sidewall. My bicycle tires harder.

I bought michelin energy saver plus 175/65/14 82T and i am very pleased with them. I can't say anything about how much they will last because i own them 3 months and i have driven 3500 km with them but the are much much better than pirelli P3000(never buy them - buy something that worth less like fulda or barum and i think that it will be better than P3000). I will buy michelin energy saver again because they are great.

Bought my first set of these and loved every bit of them, just bought my new set yesterday.. cannot fault them! Wet and Dry grip is amazing, so much confidence in terrential rain when cornering etc, Will always be buying these. However they wear really quick which is common sense when you have a tire that has a high grip rate.
