Bought these tires dur to the very good reviews of ps71. I do not have a sporty car, but the dry grip and braking it’s excellent. Never felt the tires struggling for grip.

They are not loud, but wouldn't they are necessarily quiet. You can hear them a bit depending on the road surface and speed.


Didn’t drive them too much in the rain, but seem to hold pretty well in wet conditions.


Mounted them in march this year and after 10-15k km I don’t see any major wear, but I would have to abstain on this one until I get them properly measured.

All in all, very good value tires and they looks preety good on my car

I couldn’t stand the vibrations and bought Michelin Pilot Sport 5 instead. The shop was really service minded so they took the Kumhos back. Got them switched out today and all vibrations issues are gone and comfort level raised many steps. Will stick to top tier tires from now on.

At first I need to say, I bought them as brand new for price 65€ per tire, so it's stands as value price tire. And that is their problem, it's so cheap, why? This tires behave better in compare to CSC5, so I dont understand why they're so cheap.

This tire is much more quiet (while label say 72dB), much more comfy on harsh roads (in here in Czechia), petrol consumption is lover.

Now question about handling. It's new tire, so it takes time to sit, but first impressions are great. Grip is comparable to CSC5 and other premium tires. Gives not much response as my previous tire Potenza RE002 that I had for few hundreds kms. But still, handling is amazing. On curved roads, in city streets and roundabouts they're really great and fun to drive. I'm much more confident and can cut same corners and roundabouts in higher speeds than with previous tires. And quietly without squeak.
This summer isnt much rainy, so I have not much reference for wet conditions, but for that minimum that I drove in wet, it's ok. Grips firmly, turns easily and ride without wheel spin or warning light on dashboard.
I also tried higher speeds in motorway, it's calm and quiet, holding straight line easily and without vibrations (from tires).

Thats my first impressions. Even it's low cost tire, it's really great and premium tire brand beater.

First time I bought mid range tire, and also Kumho. There was no review or whatsoever when I bought them. Purchase was based on very good reviews for PS71 and also didn't want to throw high amount of money for daily beater. But wanted good and safe tire. Considering 1350kg and 250hp car with RWD, I am very happy how the tire handles on dry and how stable it is. On wet I am amazed, there is steep uphill turn next to my house which I used to test wet grip. Not a single wheel spin or DSC flash during downpour. Aquaplaning tho, could be a bit better but then it wouldn't be mid class tire, would it? Comfort is good, I am happy, goes well over small potholes and speed bumps - doesn't eject your kidneys from spot. Comfort might be subjective because of stock suspension and well preserved seat foam thickness. Wear I can't tell yet because They did only 3000km cca. since April. Buy again? Yes, for daily beater, sure. Can't get better value for money at the moment.

Update after 5000 km / 3100 miles.
Everything is great with the tires except i have annoying vibrations between 100-120 km/h.
Just got them re-balanced but it did not solve the problem. My other rims and winter tires run smooth so its not the car.
Maybe also got some Kumho out-of-round issue here. Sorry to say it but this will make me hesitate to buy them again.

Dry grip is excellent, same level as GY Asym6 I’d say.

I bit harsher and a bit noisier as the (very silent) Asym6, but the PS72 has a bit not direct/sporty feeling compared with Asym6

I bought this tires only based on PS71 reviews thinking that there will be an improvement. I came from Continental PremiumContact 6 and until now I am satisfied with the PS72, the car feel stable and braking distance is good. Until now I drove only in city and motorway and the handling is nice. Being RWD, I have 2 dimensions on the car, 245/45 on front wheels and 275/40 on the rear ones.

3 out of 4 brand new tires were out of round. Impossible to balance, a lot of vibrations at highway speeds. Apparently common issue with Kumho. Otherwise it would have been great, the dry grip was great, seemed like a fun tire.

New tire without any reviews when i bought it. But Kumho is decent tires and PS71 have been doing really good i recent tests and i tought that the successor must be at least as good. I have zero regrets buying this tire. Its really grippy, responsive and fun to drive. The Michelin E-primacy i had on the car before was really boring and terrible wet grip, but would probably last longer than i could stand keeping them. The PS72 is really close to the Continental Sport Contact 6 i had on other cars before in real world driving. The only thing i dont know about is the wear. The tires is really soft and thats fun but time will tell how well they last.
At least when new - a perfect tire for the sporty daily driver!

Verry nice grip on wet and dry with short breaking distances. Bought this tires blindfolded as there were no reviews being new releases and replacing PS71. As for now I would recommend them.
