  • Imperial All Season Driver performs well only on dry surfaces. It also emits low noise levels. On wet asphalt, the tire's parameters are poor, but they are within the required margin. The properties on snow are on the verge of acceptability. Imperial is the cheapest product in the test.

  • The Imperial placed last in all three snow tests by large margins, showing poor grip and unpredictable rear-end behavior. Wet performance revealed significant safety gaps - taking 4.5m longer to stop than the best and 2.2m more than sixth place. The tire scored lowest in both aquaplaning tests. Dry braking needed 6.3m more distance from 60mph than the best, though it managed fifth in dry handling - its only non-last place finish. Despite its lower price, the test data shows concerning performance gaps compared to premium tires across all conditions.

Given 70% while driving a Honda Accord (235/45 R18) on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
Good tires for the money. Dry grip is decent but you will find the limits quickly, wet grip is not the best but that's not what these tires are about!
I didn't get to test them on snow but we did get icy roads with temps s low as -10 and that's were these tire really came to life. While other cars struggled with the slippery conditions I was able to just sail by. I would definitely but them again

Given 88% while driving a Peugeot 306 (195/55 R15) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
On my third set of Imps on three different cars. First set were changed from Michelin Crossclimates (225/45 17s) and hardly any difference between them - no way enough to justify Michelin's silly prices. Grippy and last really well.

Given 61% while driving a Ford c max (205/50 R17) on mostly motorways for 0 easy going miles
after 30,000 km 2 of 4 tires (28/19) lost geometry - became oval !!! 90% motorway, average speed 110 km / h
