Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

How long do tires last on the BMW 530D?

Across 24 end of life reviews from BMW 530D drivers, a typical set of tires was worn out after 9,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 4,000 miles and 21,000 miles.

Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.

I bought these based on cost, to say have been pleased is putting it mildly. They are fitted to an E60 530d BMW, they transformed its handling. When I bought the BM some 6yrs ago it had run flats, they were binned at first opportunity, Goodyears run flats are dangerous in my opinion no feel no grip horrible. put on Avon ZV7 which werent bad. But the difference with these Radar Dimax Sports is huge, it now handles in wet and dry, I ve been driving for 40yrs so fairly experienced, I would recommend these Radar to anyone they are a very good Tire, dont let the unknown name put you off

Overall very good tires for snow. I have a heavy vehicle with big tires (20 inch on sedan). Very good snow and ice grip. However they are quite noisy in the cabin despite BMW insulation.

I had previously had Michelin Pilot Sport 3 S (BMW Star marked). Wanted to switch away from Runflat tires. Compared to them, definetly more comfortable, quieter and have better grip. The steering response is worse than the PS3S-s but that's probably due to softer sidewals.

Nankang Sportnex AS2+ 245-35-20 BMW 530d F11 21,000 miles August 10, 2026

I've been driving these tires on my BMW 530d F11 2016 with 285/30-20 on the rears and 245/35-20 on the front.
Stage 1 tuned ~ 320hp & 650Nm.

For the starters, they are really good for daily driving.
My driving route is almost only highway and country road, yes I do some spirited/sporty driving time to time.
At very high speed you do feel that walls are bit soft, especially in the corners. Other then that, the overall grip is more than ok.
Been testing these on almost every conditions cold weather (except snow), summer, spring, fall and heavy rain weather.
The dry grip is good for commuting, as mentioned above they are bit soft at high speed.
The wet grip is one of the points were these tires suprise me for the price. Been on roadtrip in Norway were the weather was raining constantly and on the serpentine roads while playing with other cars, the grip is actally good.
The handling and feedback is good as long you don't drive them hard.

Noise and consumption:
Noise wise, they are not super loud, still comfortable but they have tendency to "hum" a bit when they are worn out.
Consumption: the rolling resistance is a highlight, for commuting they are perfect. Consumption numbers with these has been a pleasure.

The downside is wear/tread life.
That is the only one is thing about these tires that are big disappointment.
Manage to get out only ~ 35000km / 21700 miles and the rears are slick. And I only have them for 2 years. The front howevers have some life left, like 3-3,5mm maybe?
Since I have xDrive / AWD / 4WD, I have to replace all 4.
I do wheel alignment every 1-2 years depends on where I driving so I'm sure that the alignment is not the problem here. I do drive with 3 bars on the rears and 2.8 at the front since is a heavy car.

Maybe this is the price of buying a bit cheaper tires but Nankang according to my research use to have good tread life in general.
Because of tread life, I'm not sure if I will buy these again but I've been happy with these in general for what it cost.

A great tire with tremendous grip. It feels more sporty than touring, but it offers a lot of comfort, though it's quite noisy. It's not terribly bothersome, but other tires are a bit quieter. Wear is very high. From 7.5mm to 6.0-5.2mm in one season. That's quite a lot. These tires will last me two years, so I won't buy them for that reason.

Performance has been good. Either I have had a string of bad luck or the design is faulty. 3 nails/screws of which none were able to be repaired. One screw actually flattened the tire in 6 minutes. Seems like the tread design picks up everything. Would NOT recommend these .

Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport 245-40-19 BMW 530d F11 September 20, 2025
Been waiting for exactly this tire - all season with a sporty bias. Don't believe a 5 series requires a full UHP tire.

Recently got a full set fitted and having done a few hundred miles now initial impressions are good. Dry and wet grip is excellent. Noise levels are great too, no lounder than the summers previously fitted.
No adverse weather yet so haven't tested in the snow but time will tell, given michelin's expertise with the CC2 I'm sure they'll be fine there. Fuel economy doesn't appear to have changed. Comfort improved over the run flats previously fitted.
All in very happy so far just waiting on snow performance and wear rate. Got a good price on them too, cheaper that the PS5s I was considering.
