Fitment comes from each tire's manufactured size list, and the sizes are the ones drivers reported when they reviewed. Check the size, load index and speed rating on your own doorplate before buying - a size a previous owner ran is not always the size your car left the factory on.

How long do tires last on the Vauxhall Corsa?

Across 16 end of life reviews from Vauxhall Corsa drivers, a typical set of tires was worn out after 12,000 miles. Half of all worn-out sets lasted between 8,000 miles and 16,500 miles.

Distances are self-reported by drivers whose review marked the set as worn out; figures are medians, so a single unusual report cannot move them.

Kumho Solus 4S HA32+ 195-55-16 Vauxhall Corsa 5,000 miles August 17, 2026

Wow, not sure what to say really, have liked Kumho tires, and have driven several all season tires over the years, I’ve never come across such a fidgety and concerning tire as these.

In the dry they give no feedback when close to the limit, which comes at lower speeds compared to other tires I’ve driven.

In the wet it’s an absolute car crash, took a corner that I would always take at 60, even in the wet and have done with budgets and premium tires as well as these Kumhos, the back wanted to spin out and for the first time in 50,000 miles I’ve had to counter steer to correct the car on this road, in the wet. It wasn’t even raining hard the roads were just slightly wet so I’d be terrified to find out what these are like in a downpour.

Lastly on the motorway they are incredibly fidgety, requiring constant corrections, the tires have all been balanced several times so it definitely isn’t a balancing issue, car is fine as well, all checked as I’m fussy with the car doing 17500 miles a year I need the car, so it’s well looked after.

End of the day I’ve only had them on 5000 miles, and I’m taking them off, I’d genuinely be scared using these in winter, or heavy rain.

Kumho summer tires - fantastic
Kumho Solus 4s ha32+? I really can’t recommend, and it pains me to say that.

For my small car, these tires give me really confident grip and let me know when they're gonna slip. Road noise has decreased a lot, and its extremely comfortable ride has elevated my small commuter hatchback into a genuinely enjoyable driving experience. Wet grip is also really, really good on these, cant fault the tire in any area

Uniroyal AllSeasonExpert 3 195-55-16 Vauxhall Corsa 7,000 miles May 3, 2026
I’ve previously written two reviews on these tires praising them highly, however now the temperatures have warmed it’s like a completely different tire.

In the warm they oversteer immensely, so much so I was convinced I had an issue with my suspension, having had this checked by two different garages, no suspension issues were found at all.

With this in mind I decided having been very pleased with the winter performance of these I have decided to keep these as winter tires, and have fitted Maxxis Premitra HP6 tires for summer use - these tires have fixed the oversteer issues and the need for constant corrections.

Another issue I had with the uniroyals was getting them balanced, two shops tried and couldn’t quite get it right with a noticeable wobble initially at 50mph then at 70mph, the tires needed to be road force balanced to solve this issue.

That being said after 7000 miles the tires have only worn 1.5mm which I’m quite pleased with, as weirdly my car seems to chew tires down quite quickly and I wouldn’t class myself as a particularly spirited driver.

In summary, I wouldn’t see these as an all season tire, being in my garage now unmounted the side walls are incredibly soft now it’s warmed up, however the winter performance of these tires is great, and I would consider them a winter tire rather than an all season.

Just a quick follow up review to the initial review having spent some more time with the tires, now covering 1000 miles with them, they are showing no wear, and haven’t exhibited any changes in behavior since the initial review other than as the tire has been used more it now seems to smooth out small road imperfections better than it did initially.

As a tire it is very much an all season tire, it drives like an all season tire but is predictable in every scenario I’ve encountered so far, and I would say more responsive then something like the Michelin CrossClimate 2 which I have used previously.

Very very initial impressions here but in the last few days I’ve had chance to try these tires in every weather condition, from dry to wet, snow and ice.

Dry - handles like I personally expect and all season to handle a bit vague but fine, similar to CrossClimate 2s

Wet - Excellent, feels like I’m driving on the dry no noticeable difference feels planted even in torrential rain.

Snow/ice - impressive descended down a snow covered slope as the first car down it, snow level was quite deep and it did it no issues, and climbed back up no issues on a snowy/icey incline, and was fine pulling into - reversing and pulling out of a icey lay-by

So far I’ve been very impressed with this tire, it seems very capable, coming with just shy of 8mm of tread in my tire size (perhaps 8mm not sure how accurate my tread depth reader is) I thought I’d leave this initial review as there aren’t many out there! There is one review I could find online on YouTube - looking forward to your test to see how it compares!

Fantastic fantastic fantastic. What a tire. It was winter a couple of years ago in my Corsa, and had some budget summers on. The tires locked up in a car park and ended up very slowly hitting a van. barely any damage but the fact i coulndnt do anythign was scary, so that day went and bought 2 of these for th Corsa. And boy what a purchase. Instantly the snow grip was unbelivable for an all season tire. Chewed up snow with barely any wheelspin, this is a car with no TCS by the way. Ice was not terrible. The wet was fantastic too, and every since i got these tires i never. aquaplaned. again. For reference every time i got on the motorway in the wet with the budgets i used to be in all 3 lanes. This is on an 1100kg car. Dry grip was actually very suprisingly good too. Is it as good as a sporty dedicated summer tire? No. Is it going to hold you going way too fast on a country lane you've never been on? Probably not. Is it going to hold you on that country lane you do know, going a reasonably fast pace? Absolutely. I used this tire for around 2 years putting maybe 20,000 miles on them, and still had around 3mm on (when i sold the car, not when the tires were changed). I believe they'd have another 6-9 months / 5000-7500 miles in them at least. This corsa had 195bhp and 300nm at specifically 1088kg, and these tires kept up in drag races, country lanes, and every day driving. This review isn't for the middle aged parent who wants some nice all year tires for their crossover suv. This is the review i wish i had at 18 for these tires, that has been there and done it. In the smaller size that you're small hatchback has, they're very reasonably priced, and will do you well. Now in an M235i, I'm using Michelin PS5s which are in a different category of tires, and I have a seperate review on. Mainly due to 326bhp, and the same driving style.

Not a bad tire at all. Don’t usually leave review for tires but I’ve had these fitted for 8k miles and all I’m
really impressed. Little to no wear, the tire grips really well in the dry and seems stable in the wet when going round bends and that’s from an agressive driving standpoint and long distance motorway driving. For the price, you can’t beat it. Doesn’t seem much different to my Continental Eco Contact 5’s which was a great tire I previously had fitted. I’d recommend these and definitely buy them again.

Small update on the previous review having spent much more time with the tires now covering over 7000 miles on them, all still very good, have had to do an emergency stop with these tires and they performed better then the cross climate 2s I had on previously, the abs was able to control the stop better instead of just skidding. The tires are wearing at a similar rate in my experience as well, after 7000 probably closer to 7500 miles the tires are on 5.9mm of tread whereas they started on 7.5mm this is from my experience matching the cross climate 2s and given the price difference I’m very pleased with the wear rate, the grip on mud especially when parking in fields is much better, still yet to test in snow and ice.

GT Radial ClimateActive 195-55-16 Vauxhall Corsa 1,000 miles July 30, 2025
Only had them on about a month at this point, but have covered 1000 miles with no wear showing at all, handling is good, if a little vague, not as much road feedback through the wheels as its predecessor. In heavy rain and mud these tires perform really well, as I’ve come to expect from GTRadial tires, the dry handling is similar in my experience to the Michelin Crossclimate 2, although I do find the Climateactive to be a more comfortable tire in comparison over bumps and road imperfections.

The tire is slightly noisy when cornering, but not enough to be an issue, just more noticeable then its predecessor and the cross climate 2s.

Given its performance on mud and gravel I have every confidence that these tires will perform well in the snow, time will tell, but so far so very good, as I’ve come to expect from GTRadial, and in fact the Giti family of brands.

I've read several reviews here and I don't think they are thst bad. In my experience, DX390 has better safety reserve than Bridgestone Turanza T005. Better stability in corners (Turanzas let go much sooner than DX) and decent wet performance .

The downside is the noise. Turanza is much quieter than dx.
