Continental CrossContact H/T

Continental's tire developers have designed the multi-purpose tread pattern of the new CrossContact H/T (highway/terrain) to handle the daily challenges of a passenger car, crossover and SUV tire – with conventional or electric drive systems – just as well as a product developed for use on asphalt. Continental will produce 43 variants between 15 and 21 inches in diameter, with speed approvals of 118 to 168 mph.

Best All Terrain Tires Tested On Road, Off Road and Snow [2024]
1st of 7 tires
  • Continental Cross-Contact H/T stands apart as the road-focused option. It demonstrated the best dry road performance with excellent handling, precise steering and strong braking. Wet performance was outstanding across all tests including class-leading aquaplaning resistance. Snow performance wasn't tested as this isn't a winter-rated tire. Offroad performance was limited compared to the AT tires, particularly struggling in mud and on loose surfaces. Rolling resistance was very good at 8.0 kg/t. It was the quietest tire tested at 70.5 dB with excellent comfort and minimal road noise. The clear choice for those who rarely venture offroad and prioritize on-road safety and comfort.

Given 90% while driving a Nissan Qashqai (215/60 R17) on mostly motorways for 3,000 average miles
I have driven 3,000 km with these tires and I am very satisfied with their behavior on both dry and wet roads. Before them I had conti crosssontact lx2 with which I drove about 40,000 km in 5 summer seasons and they were also very good tires.

Given 83% while driving a Mitsubishi ASX Outlander Sport (215/70 R16) on for 0 miles
European version asx 215/70r16 , before had Michelin Latitude Cross for 55k kms, but was very noisy on road and fuel consumption getting up 0.5 liters/100km. Conti real great in the first 4.000km silent and also consumption was significant less than before. Hope have keep having this nice performance for more than 40k kms.
