Initial Impressions

I have a lot of confidence in these tires, so much so that we have fitted them in the other 3 cars in the family. They are excellent all rounders and while not sporty they provide good feedback and most importantly for me, are excellent in the wet - a major consideration here in Scotland. They feel predictable in all conditions. The Audi approved car was supplied with new tires by the dealer, from one of the budget Chinese brands. I hated driving the car, plus it was poor in the wet (despite Quattro) and had poor wet braking performance. The car was transformed when after about a month of ownership when I fitted the Goodyears.

Amazing Tire. I would definately buy it again and I am excited for the upcoming Gen4. Have tried Vredestein Quatrac 3 and 4, Michelin Latitude Cross and Bridgestone Dueler before, which were all good tires, but the Vector was the best All-Arounder I have ever had. Milage was pretty good too. I live in Greece, where it can get pretty warm in the summer and especially if you like roadtrips, fishing trips and exploring dirt roads like me, it can get pretty harsh for the tire. But i also like hunting and skiing so I needed something that can work in the wintery mountain as well. And it did! Its neither a winter tire nor an All Terrain tire, but for me it worked everywhere, while combining nice comfort and fuel economy in my daily 50Km commute in the city.

Second set of these on a Mercedes GLC. Absolutely perfect and can’t fault them in any way. (but haven’t used in winter weather beyond light snow and frosty roads). Get minimum 30k+ of even wear front and back. Very quiet even when worn. With 4WD, they offer more grip than I can ever use.
Have stood light off-roading and plenty of kerb bumping without any damage. I would now not buy anything else.

35k km on them. Got them for 2 winters and 2 summers. The first year it didn’t show any wear but on the second they started ageing.
Excelent wet and snow driving and braking
Above average for dry.

Tires are fitted to a 2015 Ford Kuga 1.5 AWD auto. I ran the Gen 2 version for 5 years and I was impressed with how well rounded the tire was, happy with every condition apart from very hot weather hard cornering. The Gen 3 however is very different. Wet grip is outstanding, especially lateral grip. Dry grip seems fine for an all season. However under heavy dry braking the car feels slightly unstable. The ride and noise are very good. My concern is side wall movement when lane changing and sometimes when cornering. It can be quite scary when the rear axle moves out of line with the front. This is only evident on the rear axle on my car. This never happened with the Gen 2 tire. Regarding road feed back, there is very little. The tire straightens up very nicely when pulling out junctions etc. Straight ahead feel is light and slightly vague. For me it is really a tire for winter and not a full four season like the Gen 2. I haven't had any snow running yet. I don't think I would buy these again due to the feel not because of grip. As I said wet grip is outstanding.
