Performance Analysis

Drawn from 4 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen 3 SUV finished third in Auto Bild's 2021, 2022 and 2023 SUV all-season tests, then fourth of nine with Motor in 2024. Handling and comfort are recurring strengths: wet handling was first of 13 in Auto Bild 2022 and second of nine with Motor 2024, while dry handling was first of 12 in Auto Bild 2023. Motor ranked comfort third. Aquaplaning resistance is usually good, including first in both Motor 2024 disciplines, but ninth of 13 in Auto Bild 2022's straight-line test was an unusual weak result that contradicts the other straight-line tests.

Dry braking is the repeated weakness, criticised in all three Auto Bild tests: it was 11th of 13 in 2022, 18.6% longer than best, and fifth of nine with Motor 2024, 10.6% longer. Rolling resistance was also high, last of nine with Motor 2024 and 11th of 12 in Auto Bild 2023. Snow performance is less consistent than the handling results: first for traction and second for braking in Auto Bild 2022 were unusually strong compared with its more modest snow placings elsewhere, including seventh of nine for snow handling with Motor 2024.
